Is this comparable w the app? Can I find it when lost?

No. Despite it being advertised as working with the app, it doesn’t. It’s the only reason I got this one, only to find it didn’t work and on further investigation I found that they’ve stopped this feature. I have posted a review stating this, because it clearly says in the description that it does.

Can you lock the wattage so it doesn't accidentally increase or decrease but still fire when using it

Yes hold down the + button and the fire button for 3 seconds to lock , same again to unlock.
