MUCH better and brighter then I expected!
I work for the post office. Our busiest time of the year is of course the darkest time of the year. Most carriers during this time of the year, easily work 12 hour shifts. Which puts us doing most of our routes in the dark. Its a struggle trying to find the best method between being about to see when driving in the dark and then being able to see in the cab well enough to read addresses on packages and mail. Well, this little light helps that struggle significantly. One of my past times is waterfowl hunting. So I have used a number of headlamps in the past for setting up decoys and blinds in the dark. So I have a good sense of what makes a decent headlamp. Brightness: Much brighter then I expected it to be. No, its not 500 lumens. Am glad it has 3 brightness settings. No headlamp or flashlight or even automobile lights come anywhere close to their advertised lumens. But this headlamp is amazingly bright for the price. Patter is decent as well. A lot of LED headlamps dont focus well and dont have much range, but this little lamp doesnt suffer from those cons. Battery life: Seems very good as well. I have only been using it a few days so the longevity of the cells I cant attest to. I also dont run it the entire time I am out driving in the dark. But over the course of about 6 hours of constant on and off again use (mostly on), it doesnt dim at all. Motion Sensor: I didnt know this was a function of this headlamp. Or any other lamp for that matter. I stumbled upon it while testing it out. At first thinking it had a short in it cause it was turning off and on. Once the light came on in my head (yes pun intended) on its function, this headlamp truly became a game changer for me and my work. Being able to quickly turn the light on and off with a swoosh of the hand or nod of the head, lets me go from being able to see addresses and putting mail in a mailbox to the darkness I need to be able to see out the windshield at obstacles and or my next stop much much quicker. AND I am not being forced to either hit the buttons on a headlamp or twist the nob of the cab light in my truck. It also comes in handy for talking with buddies out setting up for waterfowl, I can quickly turn it off without having to take my hands outta my gloves. The motion sensor on and off feature is simply amazing. The only problem I have with it is, I move a lot of things close to my face with my job. So I do tend to turn it on and off by mistake quit often. I am adjusting to it but when alls it takes is a single quick movement to turn it back on or off, thats barely a problem worth stating. Overall rating: Its an easy 5. And when a $15 dollar time can compel you to right as much as I have about it in praise, then you are WELL above its value in satisfaction. Brightness for me is also WELL beyond what I expected. Battery life for me is WELL beyond what I need. But if it werent, at the price, Id just buy more. Which I actually intend to do. I have 10 co workers whom all struggle with the same problems with the job. So I am going to secret Santa everyone this year. The motion sensor was the only part of this that I gave a 4 out of 5 star rating. Its a little to sensitive for my liking. But thats more a me thing. I pass a lot of mail in from of me as I deliver and tend to rub my nose a lot during cold weather. So I am often triggering the light on and off my mistake. Taking away a few inches of the sensor range would make this headlamp an absolute perfect item in my book. But when you are paying for a 3 and get a 9.5 item, you take that happily. Cause most of the time its reversed when buying stuff online.

The best one on the market
Pro: Brighter than all other 1,000,000-lumen lamps on the market, soft zooming without moving the lamp out of place, lighter weight than others in its range, easy and reliable batteries access, well designed power levels indicator, red back light that you can turn on or keep it off, padded foam on the rubber parts that touch your head or hat, three 18650 2600amh that are as good as other 3400amh batteries, works with one battery to three batteries depending on the weight you want with the same brightness just less time, well design for keeping the lamp cool, not as bulky as others, and beautiful designed lens. Con: Square lighting when zooming in (pushing the lens out), stiff angle adjustment requiring two hands or your lamp will be out of place. The on and off switch behind the lens prevents accidental turning on that can drain your batteries or burn your stuff, despite the inconvenient location. I've owned over 10 of these HID lamps since the start of marking them. Every year I keep searching for a brighter one, but there's none. I highly recommend it if you fish from the bank for walleyes at night like me. The bright light and convenience of use in term of zooming and angle adjustment are important for reeling in the walleyes are sometimes over 10 pounds sometimes. Experienced walleyes fishermen know that every second counts preventing the fish from unhooking itself.

Cheap 'n ' Cheerful
My intended use is work at arms length / close up work. My requirements: I need it to be rechargeable (while I drive), lightweight, cheap enough I can lose it, bright enough that I’m not sorry I bought it, and compact enough to throw in my tool bag. I would say that this Hoxida Headlamp does a pretty fair job of meeting those requirements especially for the price. The optional ‘Hand-Sensor / Proximity Switch’ that turns the headlamp on or off by waving hand within 16” or so is a great added feature, even if you don’t use it all the time. I find it useful when hands are dirty, or hands are full, and I need to quickly shut off lamp to talk with someone face to face so I don’t blind them. The Hand Wave On/Off remembers the same brightness level you were using before waving it off. My solution to modify the narrow beam to a slightly more diffused beam was to place a small piece of translucent tape over lens. Benefits: Inexpensive. Rechargeable. Decent Light Brightness. (though beam is quite narrow if you intend to only use for close up) Lightweight / Small Size / Relatively Low Profile. Simple Controls. Hand Wave to turn On/Off works very well and is useful. Comfortable enough. Reasonably fast charge if battery not completely depleted. Detractions: Narrow Beam / Hot Spot - I would prefer a wider beam - *(however for longer range uses the narrow beam is good). Hand Wave to turn On/Off will automatically trigger when any object comes within close proximity of about 16”. The water-proof-ness will greatly depend on how well you seat the press-fit rubber usb hatch. Not 500lumens unless they are measuring the center of beam at 2ft distance to white wall. Tip: If you need a more diffused beam for close up work - simply put a piece of transparent Scotch Magic Tape over lens (see photo). The milky clear tape will somewhat diffuse beam pattern without robbing lumens. You can always remove tape without issue. * EDIT / UPDATE - Purchased a second one for long days - so I can swap out. I get about 5 hours of 'useful' light before things get too dim. I really like this little light. My original unit stopped showing the charging (red led) and charged (green led) so I thought it was a gonner - Nope, it charges just fine, only the indicator charging status lights have stopped lighting up. So I just plug it in for about 3 hours and know that it's fully charged. In fairness I have dropped it many, many times. I think, for the price I should have originally given it 5 stars, but I'll leave the review as is. I've come to really appreciate this little performer (regardless of price).

LED Rechargeable Headlamp 90000 High Lumen, XPH70 This headlight is certainly in the very bright range of headlights. It feels reasonably heavy but it’s very comfortable will wearing a hat of some kind. The information about the product is correct. The light has a quick charge and lasts for several hours before a recharge. Super simple to focus. The on off switch is fully protected when the light is folded for storage and can’t be accidentally turned on. A long press and hold to turn off is a bonus. This feature bypasses the need to manoeuvre through each light phase to turn off.
