I bought two, because I wanted a spare remote and when I saw these had the quick buttons for Hulu, Netflix and Amazon prime I decided to get two and save my old Roku remote for whenever I misplace one of these.I use these on my Roku streaming device, not a Roku television, so the lack of volume control is not an issue.They worked correctly as soon as batteries were installed, no programming or setup required.

It’s absolutely ridiculous to try to find the right product Roku remote control because you can watch 50 YouTube videos, google it, talk to all your techie friends and still not get the damn thing to work. And I do not like having to control my Roku which leads me to Netflix Hulu or whatever through my phone every single time.
