Unisex Cotton Greek Fisherman's Cap

My dad had worn a cotton Aegean Greek Fisherman's Cap for years, and I thought I would never find a fresh replacement without going to a boat show. We quickly received your classic hat from Amazon. It came in a large variety of hat sizes, ran true to size, and was comfortable. I wish your hat came in a winter wool too. I tried another vendor for a wool one, but their size listed was inaccurate, as well as ,their heavy plastic brim distorted the band shape making it unusable uncomfortable even if we sized up. I was glad to find that someone still sells a quality classic cotton hat, and my dad is very pleased with it.

I have the wool version of this hat that I wear when driving my Miata and thought I'd order a cotton one for summertime use. For some reason I ordered the wrong size and, sure enough, it didn't fit. I used the "Return" process on the website, printed the "no postage needed" label and insert and took it too the Post Office in the afternoon. The return credit to my account almost beat me home! Very quick. AMAZING service!My wool hat is wearing very well (still looks new) and I will be ordering another cotton hat.

I simply love Aegean's caps. The stitching is solid, the satinelle lining is lovely, the cotton is breathable, the fit (in cm) is correct, and the hats are tough. A few years ago, the applique on the bill was not glued on very seamlessly; there were tactile edges and misalignments. Those problems were gone in the black cotton fisherman's cap I ordered. I now have three of these caps (an old cotton one from the 1980's that a dog ate the bill of, a black wool one, and this new cotton one), and they're all a great fit.

I was really disappointed with this hat. I had hoped it was going to be really good quality because it was a bit expensive, but it was not at all what I was hoping for. Very poor quality and had a rip in the liner. I returned the item.

We were very excited to find a size 8 in this hat. It was for my brother who loves this style hat and hasn't been able to find it in an 8. Guess what? It was too big, we tacked the back and figure it was about a 1/4 size too big for him. He loves it.

I have a few of these in tan as well as a couple black, one blue, and one white. only the white shows dirt worse than the tan so I don't wear the white one much. I have cleaned a tan one by lining it first with plastic wrap to keep the cardboard frame dry, then scrubbing it with water and dish detergent. Recommended is something like K2R powder cleaner which I really don't like. The hat would be better if Scotchguarded. I haven't tried that yet so I don't know if the color stays true.

I wanted to wait to break this guy in. It’s been about 3 years now and outside of being sun bleached from the sun it’s still rocking and stays on my head on every outing.

Great hat, fits well, received on time. Maybe not the best for catching Greek fish as hat works less well under water.
