I love this Redken Volume Injection set! The shampoo and conditioner leave my hair feeling full, soft, and bouncy without weighing it down. The volume boost is noticeable, and my hair looks healthy and shiny. Smells amazing too! Definitely worth trying if you want fuller, more vibrant hair.

i personally have medium thickness hair with waves/slight waves, and this product works superrrr well for me. i will point out that i do lose hair when using these products but to be fair 1. its no more hair that i lose than when i use drugstore shampoo and conditioner 2. doesn’t seem like an exorbitant amount, seems to me like its the normal amount of hair to lose tbh! my hair feels so nice when i use this, thank you to blowout professor on youtube 😛 i am able to go 3 full days between washes, tbh i bet i could go more however i have bangs so my bangs get greasy faster than the rest of my hair (as is normal with shorter hair!), so i just wash all of my hair at once! recommended!!!!! EDIT 12/2025: i first started using redken’s volume injection in 2023, and i have stuck with it ever since. when i tell you it is AMAZING for my hair, i mean it. my hair feels so clean, my hair always looks great, it brings out my natural waves— volume injection just does it for me! still working amazing :)

I have thin, straight Asian hair. I’ve spent years dealing with buildup and greasy hair. I found this stuff after watching a hairdresser on YouTube (blowout professor) recommend it. My hair now has ZERO buildup and I can go at least 3-4 days between washes! I also notice some slight volumizing effects as my hair no longer seems plastered to my scalp. I do pair it with the conditioner. A little goes a long way and this formula has an excellent, foamy lather when applied. I didn’t find it too drying for my hair type. Because you don’t need a lot, the size of the bottle will last a long time. I’m about halfway through a bottle and have had it for about 6 months. Honestly I probably use too much though! My only complaint is the fragrance. It is SO strong for anyone who is super sensitive. I’ve gotten used to it but the first several washes gave me actual headaches.

I wouldn't say easier to style but just easy to style. She likes this product because of something it doesn't have in it that was weighing down my hair and leaving a build-up. I trust her and like this product. I've bought several bottles of this since I started using it and will continue buying it.

Makes my hair very greasy which is surprising because it's supposed to be a volumizing shampoo. Will not get again. Might be better for someone with thicker or dryer hair. Does smell great. If you have the money, Oribe's volumizing shampoo is amazing, I was just trying to find something more affordable.
