Good looking, well made, but no cusioning at all...
I am shocked at all the great reviews concerning the comfort of these. My Footjoys have gotten too small, but have tons more cushioning in the insole. These ECCOs are very firm, and my feet hurt after walking 9, even on grass which makes no sense. I took out the insoles to inspect them, and they are worthless. I hate trying to find after market insoles that fit into new shoes. If anyone has any tips for me, leave a comment, I am dumbfounded that 160 dollar ECCO's could have such little padding.... and such great reviews... I really am shocked. Also, the shoes are leaving orange crap all over my socks, and my feet don't sweat so it isn't bleeding its just wearing off... unacceptable for high priced shoes.Edit: I was hoping someone would leave a comment on this, I am still shocked how these shoes are pretty much rock hard on the bottom. I pulled the insole of some Footjoys I have and they are thick squishy gel in the heel. These eccos are just hard rubber bottoms. Stupid, I have to get something else now... how do all the reviews rave about these!?!?!?!

shoes are good, but if you have a problem with them
A small section of the front sole on one side got detached a few months after a owned it, I had probably worn it for 8 rounds of golf. I brought it to Ecco Singapore for repair and their service was less than satisfactory. After a long wait without response from them, I had to keep calling for an update while the answer was 'we are still checking for a solution. Can we offer you a new pair at a discount?' The discounted price being almost twice what I paid. After a long delay, the sole was simply glued back by a local cobbler (at the initiative of the local store manager). So beware: shoes are good, but if you have a problem with them, you are on your own

Another Ecco Winner
I have 9 pair of Ecco golf shoes, 4 spikeless an in the case of these. I had been a Footjoy wearer for over 40 years on the course, but wearing my first pair of Eccos, I knew I'd never buy anything else. My podiatrist told me once when I arrived for an appointment with Ecco Tennis shoes on, that those shoes were perfect in support. I'll vouch for the comfort. The shoes fit perfectly and the only reason I didn't rate these 5-Stars is because they are not waterproof as all the others; but that is to be expected as they have a part canvas upper. If it is dewy out, you foot will get wet.

Good Value on Amazon
These same shoes were on sale at a major golf store in town for $130. the Amazon price of $96 is extremely good for Ecco. Normally I have to buy golf shoes in larger sizes - in a Nike, I need a 91/2. Ecco size 42 which is supposedly comparable to a 8-8.5 mens, fits my feet perfectly. Shoe is a bit lower than I like which means your socks more easily collect morning dew. I also bought them for the waterproof capabilities, but the leather gets fully soaked on a morning round of golf and my socks are damp. I had hoped for better water protection. Still, Ecco under $100 is hard to beat.

Love these shoes
My more traditional golf shoes were giving me blisters and made my feet hurt after rounds, so I thought I'd try some of the newer, spikeless style shoes. So far, I have 2 rounds into them and they are great. No break-in time needed, very comfortable, no blisters and feet fell much better after 18. Traction is good too, haven't played in really wet conditions yet, but it was very dewy the morning i first tried them, have never felt like I was slipping at all. Since you have to convert to the European sizes, I will say my 46, which is 12 to 12.5, probably runs closer to the 12.5 size.

functionally good, aesthetically pleasing, slightly large
As other reviewers have noted for the fit, it definitely runs large and is somewhat narrow. That being said the function and aesthetics are good. They were comfortable for an all day golf tournament, kept my feet dry, and were rather stylish.Note that it came with a set of grey laces as well - a nice touch by ecco.

Skeptical husband pleased.
I read up on this brand , and bought a pair for my husband. He is pretty traditional with golf equipment and did not want to try these because he felt the lighter style and different cleats may not provide the stability he wants. I got him to try them, and he was quite pleased. He had the traction he needed on flat surfaces. The cleats did not pick up extra dirt. He found the lighter shoe to be comfortable. He is very pleased with his present. I am the best wife ever.

Nice golf shoe
Very light weight. I wish there were a bit more padding or support in the heels. Very comfortable shoe allows me to dress at home and not at the golf course. I can drive comfortably in this shoe.

Expensive and big disappointment.
Caused blisters every time they were worn. Expensive and big disappointment.

Love them
Wearing soft spiked shoes always meant on the last third of a round my legs would start to get tired and stiffen up but with these shoes I can do 18 holes carrying a bag with no problems. I have no problems with my feet slipping on shots even in bunkers or the wet , my handicap is down and the shoes have played a part in that.

Golf shoes
Initially these felt a little tight in the width, but wearing in has softened the leather and are now very comfortable

Confort et stabilité
Beaucoup plus confortables que des chaussures à crampons tout en restant très stables.J'ai joué plusieurs types de terrain et conditions (sec, humide, chaud, froid...) sans limitations. Vivement conseillées !
