My kids like the lights.Cons: The manual is written in such broken English that I have no idea how to change functions. Also, the start up is very annoying. Every time you turn it on it does this weird robot take-over thing.I gave it 3 stars because my expectations weren't that high and for $20 it does what I want it to. It's a pretty decent product. Its really neat and simple to use. The lights are really cool and reminds me of the Borg cube from Star Trek (hence why i bought it).How to Use:There is a simple on/off button on the bottom. Plug your hdmi cable in to charge the speaker. There are little buttons on the bottom of the cube to control it (its feet). Looking down on the top of the cube the top left bottom is start/stop play, bottom left button controls back skip if clicked once/ if you hold down it increases volume, bottom right button controls forward skip/ if you hold down decrease volume.Complaint:Yes, there is a scary voice when you first turn it on about it controlling your iPhone. This is countered by a clearly Chinese female voice when you connect a Bluetooth device. The instructions are not the best at times (lost in translation issues). Personally I love the comment "High performance explosion proof sound amplifier chip". Also, there is a slight click sound when songs change in your playlist (speaker issue or my phone issue--- don't know).Overall: For the price I paid I would definitely buy this again.
