Great product, amazing value, easy assembly
Update Aug '24: This is just a guest bed at my house so doesn't get daily use, but it's held up very well. I often lift the mattress to refresh the bedding or get something underneath and yet the sticky tapes that help the mattress stay in place are still doing their job. It's been a year or two and still no squeaks and no issues (but keep in mind it's seldomly used at my house). I'm very happy with this purchase and considering the price I wouldn't hesitate to get myself this frame for daily use if I was in bed of a bed frame again. Only challenge I've had with it has been to find a bed skirt that fits it properly... All the skirts seam to have a longer pleat than I need. The ones with the correct length tend to be more expensive for some reason. This isn't a big deal, I like the minimalistic look of the frame by itself, but since my guest room is also my storage room, it would be nice to hide all the boxes of junk underneath the bed lol. Original: Since I just put my bed together today, I can't speak on durability, and considering it's a metal bed frame, I'm sure time will bring about a few squeaks in the future, HOWEVER it did feel very sturdy and like all the parts "hug" each other well when put together. The metal felt strong and the slats feel durable too. VERY easy to assemble with simple instructions and organized packaging. Literally the hardest thing about this was opening the box. As simple as it is, this was very well-designed product and the company really did an amazing job in everything from it's design, the product quality, how is packaged, and even the instructions. I do wish I had bought the tallest size just because I could take advantage of the under-bed space for storage (I got the 10" height since in the photos the 14" looked exaggeratedly high), but I'm happy with how good the 10" looks (personally I think anything less would look way too low). I'm lucky I went with this bed frame over all the others I considered.... I highly recommend this, especially considering the price. Thank you!

Happy, great frame for apartment
Happy with my purchase. Bought the 18" full size frame (on sale) for the under bed storage but I also liked the minimal modern design. As an apartment renter, I know I'll move at some point or another so didn't want a very heavy bulky frame, so also a pro that this disassembles and flat-packs easily. Initial impressions - impressed with box size and efficiency of packing. I was able to carry the ~47 lb box up one flight of stairs myself without much trouble. Assembly by myself was easy. Package has minimal padding, using some soft foam pieces (appreciated no styrofoam!) and each metal piece in a plastic sleeve. Many had broken through their plastic sleeves, but everything was in great condition/no scratches. It's one of the rare times where I thought a product could actually use a hair more packing material - but again, there was no damage. As I started to assemble, none of my pieces were labeled (except screws) but it was fairly easy to identify and follow the printed instructions. As another reviewer suggested, open the box lengthwise, assemble, then add screws (frame will hold basic shape), and do final tightening of screws for each step once all are in to ensure everything aligns. Unfortunately one bottom corner of the lengthwise side bars (piece "B") had a screw hole on the wrong side (outer instead of inner) which put a dampener on my set-up as I worried about overall quality control. Confirmed it was manufacturer error and not my own. However it seemed to hold just fine and was in the room corner (not getting on the bed on that side)... I macgyvered with some duct tape for now to ensure it stays in place and reached out to support. (More comments on this below). The rest of assembly went fast. About 50% of screw holes were super smooth and easy, the other 50% took a little time to get the screw to thread correctly but then went in fine once started. I found it best to start all by hand then tighten with the provided ratchet. Unlike IKEA assembly, the screws seem good quality and I had zero issue with any getting stripped - and think I'll be able to disassemble/reassemble as needed without issue. Some reviews mentioned that they were given extra screws - mine did not. The slats laid out fast and connect to the edges with velcro - I took the time to press down on the entire strip. I added the provided tiny rubber strips on frame edges to reduce mattress shifting, but held off on using the slat stickers (I rotate my mattress regularly so don't plan to use). Once I added my mattress, the slats (and Velcro) settled some as I laid down for the first few times, but no noise from the frame, and no issues with mattress shifting. After a couple weeks of use, I'm very happy. The frame and slats have no noise, seems strong, and I've had no issues with the mattress shifting. Only if I put a lot of weight into one spot will I occasionally get a tiny bit of noise from the Velcro - i.e. crawling across the bed - and not every time, never loud enough to bother me, or really notice unless listening for it, and it's been less and less as the Velcro connections tighten. I also find that this new frame gives more mattress support - I didn't realize my prior frame had a little too much give until now, thinking it was my mattress. Love the under bed storage capacity, especially for an apartment. The frame looks great even in a smaller room, despite the height. Regarding the piece with incorrect screw hole - I reached out to Zinus (as Amazon instructs for broken/missing pieces). Initially they said I'd have to speak to Amazon and return/replace because I was still in the return window. When I clarified that I just needed/wanted a replacement piece and wanted to otherwise keep my order, they escalated my request to upper support, and should be shipping the new piece soon. I'll update if any issues with this.

Let's get this out of the way, I love the design of this bed frame. End of story. But there is more to why I chose this over other "similar-looking" products from Zinus. Steel beams are prone to sagging after long usage, especially when you sit up in the morning on the side of the bed. This, obviously, is not ideal. So, because this bed has support for the upper frame in the middle of the beams on the side, I think sagging would not be as prominent as it otherwise would have been. Wooden beds does look classy, but they are heavy as hell. Compared to the steel beams on the zinus bed, which are steel super heavy (see what I did there?), it is much easier to disassemble when I move. I wish the corners of the support legs were more rounded off, but they are not sharp enough to be a problem for now. I did not use the sticky tape to secure the mattress because I need to lift the mattress up while putting the fitted sheet on. nonetheless, the mattress does not slide around. I cannot say if the mattress would slide around, were you to participate in "bed-related physical activities", but I am more than happy to test that out one day. And when that day comes, I will let you know for certain. Quality control was excellent, nuts and bolts fitted in effortlessly for the most part. I like the fact that no tools at all is needed for the assembly. Assembly was very intuitive, but a guide is there if you need one. They advertise the assembly is under 5 minutes. I guess I am a dummy, or something in that neighbourhood, but it took me almost 45 minutes putting the thing together by myself. The final product looks minimalistic, and performs well. No groaning from the steel or the joints. No sounds when I roll around on the mattress, but again, I have not done any physical activities on the bed, so I cannot attest to that. To conclude, solid purchase. There is this envelope included saying I should send a thank you note to other people upon purchase of this bed frame. Could someone elaborate? I bought this bed as a bachelor, who should I thank? Myself? my employer for paying me for my time spent at the office? my parents for raising me right so that I could be independent, get a job to pay for the bed? I do the last one all the time, but not too sure about the former 2 though. Would recommend buying this bed frame from zinus. Will update if s*** happens.

I waited long till the twin narrow size is available, and I am so glad to get one. The frame is of great, sturdy quality. The slats and the attachment on the frame is good and does not slide out of place nor make unusual noises. The height is perfect storage for luggage bags. It came with some spare parts and has a nut screw driver so you don't need to have anything else. I was able to assemble it in about 20-30 mins. I recommend this bed frame. I like the soft wooden slats vs the other bed frame version with metal slats. This is way better and comfortable!

We have one of these in our main bedroom which is several years old. It was time to get new singles for our guest room. They can be pushed together to make a king - with a couple of zip ties they stay well too. They are so great that I looked for these specifically. Glad to see they have not changed! A very good solid and functional product!
