I love how everything came together in one purchase. Was a perfect fit. Haven’t tried it yet because I’m still waiting on a gas tank to come in.

I bought this in advance of an upcoming engine refurb I was doing. Came with lots of stuff, but the actual performance was underwhelming. It takes two pulls to start. It made the engine stumble when the throttle was opened, and sometimes cut off, both on throttle up and down. Other than those two (important) things, it ran fine, as Hondas do. So I bought a second carb from another supplier (FitBest), swapped it out, the newer one starts on one pull, and has no problem with throttle up/down. Swapped carbs again, same results. Now I will take this one apart and see if I can find the problem. In the future, I will buy the FitBest carb...which, strangely enough, looks like the same casting. These carbs are not complex, and I see no reason to pay 4-5 times the price for an OEM one.So my takeaway is to test any aftermarket carb as soon as you receive it and if it is not perfection, send it back.
