This tool is definitely underrated. It’s such a game changer. If you are someone who travels, studies or loves to learn different languages. This pen is definitely for you. I was not expecting this compact pen to provide so much value in one go. As you can see, it translates to many languages, reads to you out loud, saves important texts or voice memos and even translates in real time while conversing with someone. While some may argue and say “you can just use your phone” I say, if you are like myself and tend to get sidetracked by millions of notifications and social media needing to stay focused and productive then I say give it a try. It’s pretty easy to use.

I really like this scanner pen. I got bunch of them to test out and find the best one and I can say that this one tested highest overall. It doesn't require perfect scanning to get a decent read of the text and overall easy to use and allows for left handed use which is great for me as a leftie!

I ordered this because it was recommended for vision impaired people to assist with reading my prescription labels, but when I read the instructions, it said to align a tiny black line across the text and I knew immediately that it would not help me. I cannot see the the tiny black line to even begin to align it across text I also cannot see. I did not even turn it on. But my sister was trying to help me and she could not get it to turn on. We followed all the trouble-shooting tips and it still won't turn on. So, I tried to return it and found out it was not eligible for a return. That's $150 I can't get back for a broken product. I cannot even sell it since it's broken. DO NOT ORDER THIS. IF IT COMES BROKEN, YOU WILL JUST BE OUT THE MONEY.

This scanner pen is sleek and of high quality. Loved that it also came with a pouch so I wouldn't have to worry about it getting scratch marks when I carry it around. Was also pleasantly surprised to find that it came with a 1-year warranty. It has software upgrade options available too to get more functions Now for its functionality - The scan speed is fast and recognition rates are also high. There were barely any typos that I needed to correct (the typos I noticed are from scanning italicized texts, which it still did a good job I'd have to say) All in all a fantastic product. It's convenient to use, has lots of neat features, and connecting to wifi wasn't an issue for me. Definitely makes my top 5 list of highest quality products from Amazon this year!

In general, it is a nice and very handy tool. Although you need some skinny fingers to get the settings done, it is easy to do so. The translation of the text to speech is good to very good, depending on the direction. If I use it to scan German text to translate into English it is very good, not so in the other direction. It is noticeable that the speaker is not German and with that pronunciation of some words is horrible. The one thing I really miss and that was the main reason why I bought it, is, that it doesn't create translated textfiles. You can only create text files of the language you scan. And for that function, there are better tools. Another, very annoying thing is the disconnection from the computer when you actually operate the scanner. It should have a way to choose if you want to scan direct to the computer or if you want to store it on the scanner. Finally, I can't give it more than 3 stars, because of not translating to text files, not connecting while scanning, and the sometimes unintelligible pronunciation of German words.

I tried this scanning pen while reading a book yesterday. It made taking notes really easy and I was able to extract key excerpts in a flash. There’s also an app that comes with it which allows you to download the text file saved in the pen to a computer or mobile phone. From there it’s very easy to edit or share. To start with, I struggled a little with the scanning. After a little practice however, I found that you have to scan line by line at a constant speed, not too fast or slow. You can also scan multiple lines continuously without stopping. Occasionally, the first letter at the beginning of a sentence disappears but I figured out that the problem can be remedied as long as you scan some blank space before the first word. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product.

Ich brauche den SP hauptsächlich zum Bücher lesen und Wörter übersetzen. Ich kann auch mehrere Zeilen einlesen, wenn ich den Zusammenhang nicht verstehe. Ich habe jedoch gestaunt, dass der SP mir auch beim übersetzen von Chinesisch auf Deutsch eine grosse Hilfe war! Auch das Sprechen und Übersetzen funktioniert gut. Der SP ist schnell im Einlesen von Text. Da er eine praktische Grösse an Scanfläche hat, können recht grosse Buchstaben gescannt werden. Der SP ist sehr leicht und liegt gut in der Hand. Der Akku hält lange hin und kann mit Kabel geladen werden. Der SP hat noch andere Funktionen, wie Text auf das Smartphone und PC übertragen, welcher ich noch nicht probiert habe. Das Bücher in Fremdsprachen lesen macht so für mich richtig Freude!

Easy to get started. Simple to use.

Hi. I come with a few of the special titles that someone with learning difficulties could have to be seeking out such a pen, am now much older so of the denied generation but also work along side other ethnicities so for my study and work finding this pen with past experience in mind of half hearted programs and equipment available on the market (I just accepted the difficulty as life for how poor they are and difficult to manage) THIS. This pen is outstanding, it took me a tiny bit of head fuffle in setting up and grasping the functions but glad I persisted. It's an extention not a tool. It covers the issues so far, seemlessly.. I'm open minded will it break in a week? It feels like a very good quality, it attaches to my bluetooth headphones so it's not an annoying external voice or embarrassing, the voice and pronouncements are amazingly accurate and understandable. Not used translate overly just played about a little and seemed accurate, impressive at least. I have high expectations now for when I use the other functions. I know that this choice and setting up can be a difficult one to decide so hope this helps. And honestly Thank you to the creator I can read and study books are not just a clump of books I scan over from eye pain, I don't have to miss chunks of info. and have long winded explanation & conversation about difficulties I can just get on! no fuss no lack of confidence to get over no embarrassment 'just' get on, amazing. This stuff changes lives you know. Less worry, less mis understanding, less taument. Brilliant.
