I install Cctv cameras for a living. I left my $800 meter at a job and couldn’t recover it. I bought this as a “cheap replacement”, however it absolutely blew me out of the water. It not only functions like my much more expensive one did, but it has higher resolution, the hdmi input always works and auto adjusts to the source, and the battery lasts longer. 100pct couldn’t be happier with it.

Good tool to have

This is a pretty good value, I was kind of shocked by the sheer amount of functionality. The only problem I’ve found is the lack of internal storage it would be nice to have alteast 16GB as well as preloading more own camera apps would be quite useful in particular the Reolink app as their cameras need to have rtsp, onvif, and http enabled through their app before you can use them. However I was able to find the apk file for it and install it myself. It’s basically a small tablet running android 10 so with a little of trial and error with finding the right apk for the device you can install pretty much any app🤷🏻‍♀️

Phenomenal tool. It was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I can power and focus Lorex, Ubiquiti, and Hickvision cameras directly off the devices powered Ethernet port. I've also used the SDI port to focus and align professional cameras. The icing on the cake is the onboard HDMI port that let's me use the device as a monitor to setup NVRs. Instructions were of little use, but the tool is pretty intuitive any way. It took me a while to figure out how PTZ works (you swipe like a phone). All and all worth the $$. I bought one for each of my techs. I just wish the battery lasted longer (about 20 minutes of use), but it is swappable.

Slow CPU, constant lag. Other than that, it does a good job. Everything works, just takes a much longer time.

Well, a few days ago, unfortunately, there was software that I had to be in contact with for help day after day writing and the support that always honestly helped me regarding the scanner works very well, not with some reolink cameras, which is the majority of installations. The tester is impeccable and the battery is relatively poor since I regularly install from 8 cameras up to 16 but I solved it by assembling a 12 volt package with 18650 lithium batteries and it gives me more autonomy

Have tried the cable tester, tracer, and POE output. Everything works well.

I ordered this unit to replace another one which I ordered previously where the screen got damaged on a jobsite. The camera tester for the kit works flawlessly and the screen appears updated. However, my issue is with the wire tracer receiver #255. It came with a defective power switch and is not coming on. I was just fortunate that I had ordered the same unit as a replacement or I would have not been able to get any cable testing done. ***Update - I have updated the rating of the product. The manufacturer reached out to me and let me know that they changed the design of the receiver and it is powered on differently in the new design. It works. No complaints since then.
