Nanoleaf Shapes - Hexagons Smarter Kit (9 Panels)

The Nanoleaf Shapes RGBW panels completely transformed my gaming setup. The colors are vibrant, the transitions are smooth, and the customization options make it easy to match whatever game or vibe I’m going for. They’re bright without being harsh, and the geometric shapes add a sleek, futuristic look to the wall. Setup was simple, and they immediately became the centerpiece of my room. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to elevate their gaming space!

Nanoleaf has the original modern gamer/ambience lights, and absolutely everyone who can, needs a set. This picture has the original 7-light starter pack (this product), plus 6 other 3-hex expansion packs for a total of 25 lights, so don't think you get that many with this one purchase! But know that once you start, it's hard to stop; this wall is almost filled, and I have 12 Nanoleaf lines in another room and another set of 7 hex lights at another house. The lights are bright, colorful, customizable, fairly easy to install, and interactive & epic. The app is great, but connectivity issues when starting up are hardly unheard of, as well. One note from someone that has way too many Nanoleaf lights for the good of their wallet, is that adding expansion packs is somewhat hard with the Hex lights due to having to pry up one end of the existing panel to slip the connector underneath and add on another panel, while expanding on Nanoleaf Lines is way simpler due to just taking the cap off the connectors and snapping on a new light bar! These lights change the whole look of a room, and are something everyone can admire (especially with the lights low and music going, letting the lights flow or pop with the pace of the song!). Get them if you can, because I know I won't be buying my last set anytime soon either!

I recently purchased this for my Daughter as a birthday gift for her 13th birthday. I purchased this along with the Nanoleaf Shapes lights; the Nanoleaf Smart Remote Control, which is in the shape of a dodecahedron (as in a 12-sided dice). I don't write many reviews. I don't have the time. However, I needed to write this. I am an electrician and I install a lot of lighting; automated lighting systems; and RGBW (Red, Green, Blue, White) LED Products; both with and without intelligent control/user interfaces. This product is, by far the best of any automated RGBW lighting product I have ever seen, let alone installed. I didn't believe it would be as easy to install, program, and use, but it is all three. It is easy to install, it is easy to program, and it is easy to use. The intuitive control using their 'Smart Remote Control' is nothing short of Amazing! I highly recommend you purchase the Remote Control with the lights by default. (I always tell my clients to have a physical hard button device to use to interface with their automated lighting products, so you're not always running for your phone). END RESULT: My 13 year old Daughter was beyond ecstatic!! She is so very thrilled with these lights, and never stops using them, it's been one week and every day she finds more they can do, and more she can do with them. To be honest, I don't see her interest fading.. as she wanted something like this for over a year, and I don't see her "growing out" of the novelty of having them even in the next 3 years. I actually believe I'm jealous, and now want some for my office.. they're really that cool. You can do anything imaginable with these Lights. Use them to wake up, go to bed, relax, workout, game, listen to music, and entertain. Ok, I've said enough... Go buy them already, you know you've had them in the cart for days! Enjoy!

TL;DR: Started off great… futuristic even. Customer service took a nose dive. Be careful when buying these. The lights were PHENOMENAL… until they became a glorified lamp. We had a brief power surge (lights flickered off then back on), and since then the lights and Secretlab MAG RGB strip won’t stay connected for longer than two minutes. In the screenshots, look at the time stamps. That was from the same instance of doing hard resets. The icing on the cake is customer service. I started a help ticket on August 23 saying I had done hard resets on both devices, and within minutes support sent an email back telling me to do hard resets, and other things I said I tried in my initial email. I responded the same day (August 23), but got no response. I sent another email the next day (24th)… no response. Another the next day (25th)… no response until the next day (26th). They told me to remove the devices inside the app, delete the app, redownload the app, do a hard reset. I responded same day having done the steps, and sent a screenshots showing time stamps of how the light strip disconnected in the time it took to connect the hexagons. I tried to give all information I had in a couple emails on Aug 26th. They responded August 29th asking for the following information: 1. Phone brand, model, and OS version 2. Nanoleaf app version 3. Hexagon and Lightstrips firmware version 5. Serial number of the Hexagon and lightstrips. I provided all to them the same day, and then didn’t hear from them until today (Sep 9) requesting a video of me doing a hard reset. For WHAT?! At what point will they just send new receivers?! They’re clearly not working! Customer service makes me mad I bought these lights.

Works great! Only thing is the glue sticker did not last. They all eventually fell off the ceiling but still worth it 👍
