However, the shoes are very snug. If you are also in between sizes, I suggest going with the larger. Still, I was able to wiggle the fabric around my feet so that they fit okay, and I'm hoping that with a few wears, the fabric will give just enough for me to be able to slip these on and off with ease. These shoes are narrow in a particular spot for me. The top middle part of my foot is high (despite the fact that I have low arches) and I find that that is where the most tension is when I wear these shoes. However, I have that problem with most shoes I try on, so if you have a similar shaped foot as I do, expect to break these in a little bit. Other than that, the footbed provides some amount of arch support and cushioning, which I highly appreciate. I am unable to wear flats for an extended amount of time because the lack of arch support causes knee pain. Although I love wearing sneakers, I wanted casual comfortable shoes that wouldn't make me look like a child (I look really young and wearing sneakers doesn't help!). These Toms are casual, comfortable, and somewhat more age appropriate for me. Finally, I was worried that the Toms I received might be fake.
