Top notch product
I have only very recently taken up welding and that at only a basic DIY homeowner level. In other words, I don't know what I really want, need or expect - it's all new to me. There are dozens of welding aprons available for online purchase at widely varying price points and like all things offered in this way you are really limited to just your 'gut' instincts because you can't physically evaluate an item or try something on - it's a crap shoot. What stood out for me was that this Apron had several pockets, its bib appeared to cover a higher/broader area and it had what appeared to be a totally adjustable suspender and belt arrangement. Would it work for me? I couldn't be sure, but since its price was surprisingly reasonable I took a chance. I'm glad I did. This Apron is very well made and its quality becomes clear as soon as you take it out of its package. The leather is good quality and the workmanship is first rate. This apron will far outlast my usage and I think it would satisfy even the most demanding user. Buy it. It's surprisingly good.

Got this for a gift for my grandson who is a welder. Good weight, good quality and great coverage!

Great overall quality.
Its a little thinner than I wanted but its still really well made and long enough. The long enough part was important because I'm 6'1" and wanted one that went past mid thigh! This one goes down to mid shin area so overall im very pleased with it. Lots of pockets for tools, scribes, pencils, markers, lighters cigarettes, or infant kangaroos. I would have given it 5 stars if it were just a hair thicker. But then it would have been too expensive for my cheapaß

Only one minor complaint
the top shoulder pads are not adjustable and could be an issue for some. Leather smells fine. Pockets are just dandy, length is great and the leather is nice and soft and supple. Unless you are Mr Fantastic with rubber arms, as others have said, I strongly recommend you have someone help you fit it the first time as I did......which is why I'm happy with it. I compared it to a lot of others which had pockets that were too small and nothing at the shoulder to make it comfortable without paying too much....this was a good investment for me and I've gone without one at a forge and welding for 58 years because I don't do it full time, BUT I'm tired of putting holes in good clothes and LONG overdue. The top pads on the straps might not fit everyone, but they did fit me and it was comfortable with the help of another adjusting it. It's an investment I should've made long ago, but it is a good one for me.

Unbelievable Value
You will not believe what you paid for this apron when you receive it. It is so supple, but protective, too. I have tried not to be obsessed with pockets, as I usually am, so I haven’t really worked out what goes where, and if that will be a good or bad feature. I am a 5’5”, 120 lb female, so I was worried about the fit. But, I ripped the stitches in one strap, and it fits perfectly. I did not have to stitch or redo any straps at all. I bought this for grinding primarily. It wouldn’t do for me for welding. But, I end up wearing it for general shop work because I like it so much. That’s where the pockets might be an issue. I meant to hang it up right next to the grinding/metal cutting station and use it for just that. But, again, it’s hard to take off. I write honest reviews, because I rely on them. Buy this.

Good quality.
Good leather apron. Gets dirty easily. Hard to clean. Pockets should be ripped off if you're around machinery.
