I like everything about this item. Yes very gable. Love the box and the contents of the box. Very good quality excellent to have a case of emergency because this is louder than a regular whistle for trying to be located. Very nice item to put on a shelf for people to see.

Whistle is impossible for me to get proper sound. It requires way to much air pressures. Will try tuning it. The box is nice, but the lid fits a bit too tight. For 10 bucks it still would make a nice gift.

It cool, it works and it's beautiful

As some who partakes in sports like boxing, I've never been hit so hard square in the face until I received this product. To start, they should mention that this product is for DISPLAY PURPOSES ONLY. The sound produced by the pipe is absolutely abhorrent, it sounded more like a man taking his last dying breath rather than a crisp and clear tone. The end of the gun that meets the hole of the bouy is jagged and looks as though it was cut with a pair of kindergarten safety scissors. The shackle is just a thin tiny wire masquerading as a key ring, it's so bent up I cut my hand when I held the pipe for the first time. The material they made this from is so flimsy and cheap I'm fairly confident I could bend it with my mind. Anybody who knows anything about *quality* bosun's pipes would know that a pipe with a completely rounded bouy produces a clearer sound, and this product has a flat faced bouy that makes it the pug of pipes, looking like they took a frying pan and smashed it just for the hell of it. The only thing that makes this product good is the wooden box it came in, I liked that a lot, but the rest is just about unexcusable. You get what you pay for, cheap scrap, and I should've known that.

This Bosun whistle takes me back to my Navy days, I just need some beeswax and a file and it'll tune right up. Thanks I love it. Was very reasonablely priced.

I did t find anything I didn’t like. It’s for a Gift and it’s fun and I’m sure it’ll be enjoyed.

Nice addition to my nautical collection. I gave it four instead of five stars simply because the beautiful wooden box it came in was fitted too tightly, and as a result is very hard to open and close.

Looks decent but dose not make the correct sound at all . Would be a nice gift to a retiring sailor. I have it 1 star because I bought it to use it, and it’s only good for show

A little bit disappointed with this. Already has a "worn" look to it even though it is brand new. I don't think it will last long...
