Faber-Castell Goldfaber Colour Pencils – Tin of 48

Quality is not worth the price. Looks fake. And looks like a used box. Colour has spread all over the tin cover.

Arrived in perfect condition. These are really good pencils. I had bought a few of these open stock and liked them so much, I bought the full set. I also have a full set of polychromos pencils and like pencils with less wax and that hold a point longer. There is a nice selection of colors in the Goldfabers for such a small set, and they layer/blend well. Happy with purchase.

FC goldfarben is an excellent product at an excellent price. I love both these and the corresponding aquarelle pencils. Ok, they are not Polychromos and there are only 48 of them (such a pity!) but they are vibrant, pigmented, and soft. They certainly feel and apply like excellent quality pencils. FC claims that they are lightfast although it does not provide individual evaluation for them. They lack the color name but a color number is printed on them and FC provides a printed table with the color name assigned to the number. By way, FC uses the same color numbers for all their product, so numbers and color names are the same across Goldfarber, Polychromos, Aquarelle Goldfarber and Durer pencils. Moreover, they all mix just fine together!
