RenogyRover 20 Amp MPPT Solar Charge Controller with Bluetooth

This charge controller preforms very well. It has a good user interface and the Bluetooth interface is even better. Be aware that if you are going to charge a 12 volt lithium battery you will need a minimum of 16 volts to activate the controller's charging, so 18 volt solar panels may be best. Unfortunately the the quick start user manual makes no mention of the 16 volt minimum requirement. I wish the Bluetooth had better range, maybe if the unit used WiFi instead of Bluetooth the range would be better.

Great price, great build quality does exactly as advertised

Getting to this point has been a learning experience, I went through three other manufactures, lower wattage PWM setups to run a WiFi PTZ camera. This charger with a 50W panel and 20Ah battery, getsit working 24x7 and the bluetooth management is awesome, the charge controller also has programable features for tweaking battery charging. I did add an IP67 rated box to put in outside.

So far it's a really nice charge controller however It did not come with the bluetooth module as shown in the title and pictures

This Renogy charge controller is easy to operate and works well.
