SOUTHWEST WHEEL Tandem Trailer Axle Shackle Kit for Double Eye Springs (3.5K -5.2K Axles)

Purchased bronze bushings for the inserts. to replace the plastic provided, and after sitting in the freezer for two days to shrink they still would not drive into the rough casting of the equalizer for the springs. The bushings slid into the spring eyes with gentle tapping as they should. Equalizer was honed out to match the measurement of the bronze bushings and inserted. I now wish I would have upgraded to grease bolts for bushings, but these should outlast my use of the trailer.

kinda took a guess if kit would work since i didnt know what my tandem trailer had for axle weight.kit said 3.5 - #5000 axles.Everything fit great, my trailer had 1/2" bolts at spring ends at equalizer but all i had to do was remove old bushings and install new ones in spring ends and use new 9/16" bolts.GREAT Parts.Fast shipping. They could have had better bushings instead of cheap plastic.I replaced my original components on car hauler.

Expensive for what it is, some bolts and a couple of rocker arms.
