Sturdy, sleek and easy to build
Got the Dark Grey, it was on sale for black Friday. It feels very sturdy and overall good quality! It's very sleek and modern looking. It's a perfect size for anyone's apartment patio. The instructions are easy to follow, just time consuming to build Excited to try it out, will edit my review based on performance once I use the grill.

Very solid for the price, easiest assembly ever
I was stunned by how easy & straightforward this was to assemble. It took me only about 90 mins, and that much time was only because I was being uber-cautious since I had never assembled a gas grill before. The instructions were almost entirely drawings- very few written words - but they were amazingly clear and precise. The best part was how they packed the nuts & bolts & screws & such; they were all blister-wrapped into sections onto a single piece of cardboard, the back side of which was printed with notes as to which section of the assembly each cluster of parts pertained. So clever! Why don't ALL manufacturers do this?! I have assembled an awful lot of DIY things in my life, some of them fairly easy, others inscrutably & devilishly IKEA-like. But this was actually a pleasure and a joy to build. It is a very solid grill for the price. I was concerned, because I was seriously "downsizing" from a fabulous workhorse Vermont Castings 3-burner (that cost me $398 way back in 2005!), that just could no longer be salvaged and repaired. I didn't want a flimsy or shoddy grill, but just wasn't willing to pay Weber prices....especially these days. It lights easily and gets to temp extremely rapidly compared to my old grill. I rubbed the grates with a little canola oil before first use. (But a day before that, i had done the "burn-in" at high heat for about 15 mins to get rid of all the manufacturing oils and such - whew that was smelly & smoky. You absolutely don't want to skip that step before you cook on a new grill.) The only downside is finding a good-quality grill cover that fits... this grill is very deep, even deeper than my old, larger grill. From handle to rear it is 25" deep but most covers are only 22" deep. So I will just have to keep the side tables folded down so that a decent cover can fit ...But then, that is another plus of this grill: those tables fold down easily. Meanwhile I am just using my existing (too-large) grill cover for now because it is still in great shape. (Word: Do not scrimp on grill covers! Get a good quality one, and it will last at least 2-3 years...or even longer if you patch any little holes on the underside with Gorilla tape 🙂) Very, very pleased with this purchase and the build quality of this grill.

Good buy minus 1 screw
My neighbor has this bbq & shares mains such as tri tip & chicken breast. He's never brought over a dry dish yet. He bought his assembled for $100 cheaper in store. I couldn't find that deal so I paid full price here. Assembly was easy enough that I (a woman) could have done it myself with a Phillips screwdriver but my husband was so sweet & with my "help" (I read the directions), he assembled the bbq largely by himself. One part in the directions notes it takes 2 people. That's inaccurate as the average single person could have lifted the top piece onto the bottom. It only took 4 screws to hold that part on & it lined up without problems. The package of pre-packaged screws was missing one & the screws are coated black so using a silver one wasn't an ideal option. I colored the top of a screw I had on hard with a black sharpie but have a feeling it won't last & truly, the crew wasn't an ideal fit. I have grilled a baguette on the top rack with success. I grilled 2 medium Papa Murphy's pizzas & they came out amazing! Very tasty, but BE SURE TO PRE-HEAT ON HIGH to burn off any oils on the grill. My grill smoked pretty considerably & had I not burned the oils off first, that could have been cooked into my pizza. I grilled 6 standard size very thin cut chicken breasts & though they tend to come out somewhat dry cooked stove top, they were moist & full of flavor cooked on the grill. I haven't done veggies yet & I think a veggie basket may be a good option to prevent them from falling through the grate. The bbq seems to read temperature accurately & holds it pretty well even after open/closing & the lid is easy enough to open even for we who are short. I do recommend standing to the side if you're short so you don't risk burning your arm or hair. The bbq seems pretty well made & is an inexpensive option to other models at different price points. It certainly dose the job & looks nice but it isn't he top of the line. It serves its purpose & does a great job. It has the ability to grill up to 16 burgers at one time though honestly, I wouldn't cram that many on there as I don't believe they would cook evenly. It's just the two of us at home so this product suites our needs. We could easily accommodate grilling for guests up to 2 additional couples & cook at least the meat all at one time. Beyond that, meat would need to be cooked in batches so to speak. I think this was a good purchase & aside from the missing screw, all of the parts were included, the directions were mostly clear, & it was easy enough to assemble using a handheld Phillips screwdriver. I would buy again though when this grill becomes outdated, I'll be on the hunt for a bbq made with heavier gauge material.

Great little grill!
Im happy with this grill it’s the perfect size for my patio. Easy to assemble by yourself. Great value for money! It heats up great. There was a small dent on the inside of the door. I had already assembled the foundation of the grill before I noticed. So I just continued.

Hotter than a Florida Summer Day
WoW! I was downsizing my grilling experience and figured i would need to settle for less when I went with a two-burner grill and man was I wrong! I have hit almost 600*F and the ability to sear my steaks properly is a great thing. The drip pan is very large, easy to take in and out and cleans almost with just a wipe. The grill grate has thick bars [I recommend not using any steel or abrasive stone cleaners on these] and makes a great grill mark on our meat. The second level grill is perfect for keep items hot or “rare” when grilling other items to well-doneness. There is plenary of room down below to get a tank in and out with a very sharp door to trim out the look very well. The biggest “plus” are the wheels. They are commercial grade casters and make moving my grill in and out to use smooth and easy. The best wheels I have ever seen on a grill for under $500. The assembly was easy [but not short] and required a 2nd person for just two parts and the directions made the process smooth and simple. I hate directions, but these worked for me very well indeed. The shelves can be dropped to the side for easy and slim storage and when in place are very sturdy and substantial. Another plus usually not found in a grill under $500. One final note, this grill not for big shindigs, but makes a great addition for the 2-4 person family or gathering. Plenty of room for my needs.

3 Year Review - excellent grill
3 Year Review We bought the charbroil grill 3 summers ago and it’s been great. We downsized from a 4 burner grill and it’s been no problem cooking for 5-6 people at a time. It is a very efficient on propane, we grill all the time and rarely have to refill. This grill is a real champ at cooking just about anything. We do burgers, steaks, chicken, shrimp, pizza… you name it. It heats up fast, so it’s great for quick meals or reheating a rotisserie chicken. The grate is good about not letting food fall through, which is awesome for doing vegetables and shrimp. It’s fairly sturdy and has no problem supporting a cast iron skillet. As far as durability goes, it’s made of sheet metal and feels more than solid enough. I have occasionally had to retighten screws on the handle and shelves, but nothing major. I leave my grill outside on an uncovered patio with a cover on it most of the time. It still looks fairly good. I have had to replace the burners and igniter on the grill after 3 years. It works like new now.

Nicely Designed!
I've had 3 Char-Broil grills. By far, this is the best engineered one of all! I was impressed by the fit and finish of all the parts. There were no misalignments in the entire assembly, and the instructions were very well set forth. The hardware was well thought out, making it unnecessary to have extra hands available. I notice things like that, and give them real credit for the design. I haven't cooked anything on it yet, but it lit up on the very first try. I've had good success cooking on my other two Char-Broils, and see no reason why this one should be any different.

Excellent Grill If You Want To Spend $300.
I’m a little older so I took my time. 2.5 hours. All the parts were there. Follow the instructions. For its size, it’s a bit expensive but worth it. You put the propane tank inside. Great storage spot. The tricky part of the assembly is the clamp for the hose. Just screw it and don’t tighten it yet. Slip the hose in and then tighten it. It lit up in the first try. Outstanding. Run it for 15 minutes to eliminate any oils. Then cook your meats or fish. For long storage during winter, remove the AAA battery. I highly recommend this grill.
