These make walking on ice much more safe.
This will be my third pair of Yactrax that I’ve owned in 12 years. They have definitely saved me more than a few times. I have never slipped while walking on Ice. Very easy to use, nothing needs to be done, just walk and the metal cleats does everything else. A few times while walking across my driveway without the Yaktrax, I fell backwards hitting my head on ice. Not with these. The elastic stretches a lot so one pair will fit many sizes. Walking on ice is much more safe. Be cautious if walking on slate or other type of hard material because you can slide. Very good traction on snow with ice.

Great for ice/snow but rubber sections broke too quickly
Great for ice/snow but be aware they have a short lifespan. I usually use microspikes but was living in Denver for a couple of months last winter, so bought Yaktrax. A little over a year later (maybe only 150-200 miles) a couple of the rubber straps broke and the metal coils on the bottom started getting dangerous (could hurt me or my pups). So, I tossed them and bought a new pair. I only expect them to last one year (Midwestern forests this winter).

Good but with a limitation.
After 14 trips on snow and ice, there are benefits and disadvantages. On glare ice, snow and compacted snow - no issues. Hard to even make yourself slide. BUT on fresh snow covering ice, you can still slip and slide. This is compounded a bit because you cannot see the ice under the new snow. Next, I have ordered a design with 28 metal studs. Will post another review in a couple of weeks or so.

good Snow and ice cletes
the Yak track Pro works great. they do their job. No slipping on the ice or snow with them on. they can be hard to put on. since you have to stretch the silicon over your shoes or boots. Once they are on. You are good to go. they are slippery on tile. be careful. If wearing them to the door on tile.

DO NOT BUY!! No customer service and unreliable product.
DO NOT BUY!!! These are ok except they broke after less than 5 short walks. I tried returning but Amazon said it was ineligible for return. Instead Amazon wanted me to contact Yaktrax. I sent Yaktrax multiple messages over 2 weeks and got absolutely no response. Yaktrax has abominable customer service. They do not stand behind their product or care about the customer at all. There is no live customer service and do not respond to emails. Amazon was useless as well. Even though I was eligible for a return Amazon would not allow me to return the item either. I think I got a refund but I haven’t received it yet so I am not sure. It took me half an hour to navigate the customer service department trying to get support. Eventually I think I navigated the Amazon maze that they call customer service. I clicked the correct magical buttons and got a message saying I would receive a refund. Look for another option.

Great ice grippers!!
These were great!! Easy to put on, stayed in place, gripped ground wonderfully in snow and ice. I could wear indoors but little slippery on indoor tile as one would expect. Coils increased my confidence walking around as I did not want to fall !!! Great product!!

Lifesaver for walking on ice and snow
Great traction for walking my dog in the winter in Iowa. They fit on my boots and on my tennis shoes nicely. We recently had a lot of ice and these saved me from falling as I walked my dog. I have no complaints and I highly recommend them.

Well Worth It
These work great. We live in North East Wisconsin, Cold, Snow and Ice. My wife and I walk three miles a day year round and it was always treacherous this time of year. Now we can trek around with confidence. They go on easy enough and stay put on your boots. The hold fast on ice, and don't slip on clean pavement. We have put about ten miles on them now, and they don't show any sign of wear.

I find the Yak Trax product to be the best of all that are available. Easy to install, light and very durable. What with the salt used on the sidewalks today the rubber will eventually breakdown but mine lasted five years before this happened. Although I bought another pair I was able to repair the old ones with some bicycle tire tubing and Shoo Goo. A bit more expensive than some but what are your bones worth?

Great product. Don’t walk on tiles, polished boards/concrete with them on.
