The netting is made of inferior fabric that snags with the least little touch to a twig or pine cone. When set up (stretched) the zipper fabric is puckered around the curves and cannot be operated with one hand.The rain-fly only extends to the bottom edge of the tarp and three inches beyond the corners. When it rains you are soaked. The rainfly center seam is supported in the middle by resting on top of the bug-net support pole and is not seam-sealed: again, when it rains you get wet. The rainfly is stretched and attached at the corners by 4 inch long bungee cords with tiny plastic s-hooks that are so small that you cannot secure them to anything, not even themselves. There are two more of these attachment setups on the long sides of the rain-fly. These are for the purpose of holding the rain-fly up and out of the way so that you can have a view. You have to provide your own cordage and stakes if you want to actually use the rainfly as a rainfly.There are two one-inch straps (no buckles) and one two-inch strap with a ratchet buckle for rigging the floor-tarp. These are the standard, heavy straps and buckle that you can buy at any hardware/automotive store. There is a sewn loop at the end of each strap to connect with sewn loops on the corners of the floor. The floor borders, attaching loops and straps are sewn well (thus a two star rating instead of one).The instructions are written with English words but with non-English grammar. They direct you to secure the unbuckled straps to a tree with cow hitches. DO NOT DO THIS! Cow hitches will not hold tension. Use a round-turn with two half hitches or a similar rigging knot.When properly rigged the border edge of the floor stays very taut and level under load. However, when you crawl in, the floor material sags 22 inches in the middle. I am six foot tall and weigh 180 pounds. Any extra gear (laptop, phone, light, shoes, etc.) slides to the middle with you. Unlike a hammock, where you can lie diagonal and be level; there is no way to level out in this "tent". The leg-foot area is so narrow that two people over 4ft 6in tall could not possibly fit without being personally intimate. The sag also prevents sitting. There is a strap sewn to the underside of the floor to allow for tensioning the bottom. This strap has no effect on the sag no matter how tight or loose it is adjusted.The only provision for gear storage inside is two small fabric sewn-in loops that you can tie a very light-weight object to.This might be a good outfit for 10 year old children to use as a backyard overnight campout and to learn geometry and rigging. I will give this to some friends of mine who have kids: after I buy two more ratchets for the straps and seam-seal the rain-fly.Would I buy this again? Nice to be up off the ground and feel safe. The rain fly on this tent is useless, hence the 4 star rating, I would give it 3.5 if it was possible. The rain pours through the rain fly. Unfortunately I can only use the tent when it is not raining and it usually rains when we hike and camp. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good quality for the money. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 7, 2017* As an avid camper I know that no system is perfect. The rain fly is not designed well, but with some ingenuity, you can fix it to fit properly. It holds almost 400 pounds, and we have used it about 6 times. The fabric has not ripped or caught. It isn't it's cousin, which costs $600 but for $200 bucks, its a cheap and fun alternative. Yet to determine how many seasons it will last, however, unlikely more than 4.
