I love the crunch and taste of poppy seeds especially on salads or breads. These organically grown poppy seeds come in a 100g resealable bag with less than 9 months shelf life remaining. Whilst these seeds certainly had crunch, I did feel that these did not have the poppy seed taste that I crave. To be honest, I found the taste too subtle for my taste buds.

As I couldn't source poppy seeds locally I bought these in 100gm size which is a perfect quantity for me. I use them in bread, biscuits and cakes. I've not baked with them yet but tasted some and they are just great for me. A rustic smell when opening the packet - which is fantastic packaging to keep them sealed and fresh. I will buy more of Thames organic products if this is an example of quality and care.
