Total of 5 ordered of which only 2 worked. (The Led turned on at 13.5 v volt input). As it worked I could do some setting. Volt set at 13.6 volt. On load at 6 amp from buck converter o volt stabilized at 10 v. Adjusted current to stabilize to 12.5 with load. Input was at 14.5 volt 4.5 amp. Waiting on replacement.

Hi, I got this and both work perfectly, you will need a multimeter to correctly adjust the voltage and amperage. The main note is these potentiometers require A-LOT of turning. You will notice a clicking once you turn too much indicating that you’ve reached a maximum. But in general you will need turn it until the potentiometer is engaged and then till the correct reading. Please also note that counter clockwise lowers the voltage or amperage and clockwise increases the voltage or amperage. Hope this helps anyone!

The convertor works for my application where I had to step down a 36V lithium ion battery to 28V @ 2A. Biggest issue for me is the LED showing it is on and high current with no load. The heat sink does get warm with no load. So you will be draining batteries if you do not turn off the input power. Screw holes are easy to use. Not enough room. Terminal blocks can break or bend easily, so do not over torque. In a pinch it works.

No issues. I used it along with a USB trigger to power a programmable light strip.
