Works like a charm
I bought this card to use in my old Rebel XTi. It has enough storage to last through a session. I am sure my camera can support a bigger one as well, but this works out just fine. Had to buy a new card reader though as my old one only supports up to 4GB. Minor hurdle

Used, but works
At this point these cards are obviously used since they haven't made them in a while, so keep that in mind when purchasing in 2022 and beyond. The one I received even still had data from the previous owner on it. It's probably a bit overpriced as you can get them cheaper elsewhere, but it works perfectly for retro computing use in the PCMCIA CF adapter of my Amiga 1200. SanDisk is the way to go. I've had issues with other brands of 8gb cards, but this one works flawlessly.

Retro IDE
I bought this for a retro 486 laptop. I was able to xcopy contents of hdd to the cf card in a pcmcia adapter, but the ancient bios would not recognize it internally for use as the primary drive. It makes an excellent very large second drive though!

Went on fire -- might have been device/adapter that caused this
Purchased this for retro/vintage computing purposes, and it got really hot and went on fire. I'm skeptical the flash card was the problem, versus the device it was plugged into, but nevertheless, it was the card that went on fire!
