It's a lightweight leash. The clasp doesn't seem to be very heavy-duty, but it serves the purpose of giving my large dogs plenty of leeway to walk without them needing to constantly pull.

Training my dog on the electric fence was much easier using this long leash. Very durable and good quality.

This was perfect to let our dog wander out back and explore without worrying about losing him.I love the bright orange color.It was way longer than we needed, but still worked well.I think the value was good considering how convenient it's been.Problem is, we left it outside in the elements. I think it just dry root rot...idk.It became brittle and just snapped apart.Don't do what we did.

Use for training off leash work

This is a fantastic product. I can sit out in the grassy area at the park with my dog, Gus tied to the lead . It gives him plenty of length to run and play. I don’t have to worry about him running off while I have him tethered to this lead. He loves the grass so very much and this gives him the chance to roll and play in it. This is a wonderful useful product and makes my dog very happy. The thickness and durability of the lead is high-quality. I can already tell it’s going to last for . years to come. I’m very happy with this purchase great value for the money.

The media could not be loaded. My puppy is 6 months old, so he can't be trusted off leash yet for fear he may get lost, or get into trouble. I purchased this 30 ft. Leash to give him more space to be a puppy and expel that puppy energy so that he will be more well behaved st home. Running is key to having a tired well behaved puppy. We walk to the beach with a normal 6ft. Leash, and then when we get there we scan the area for people, kids, other dogs...and then I switch him to the 30 ft. Leash. I don't say anything about it, I just clip it on his harness and walk away. As soon as he realizes he on the long line he takes off running! He goes in circles. Back and forth, in the ocean, sand, he has so much fun! We do not have a yard cuz we live in an apartment, so this is a real game changer! The bright orange color is easy to see! His legs were a bit soar the next day, but he was do calm snd relaxed after getting to run in an area with no fence that he would normally be on a six foot leash! The price is so good too! I added knots every five feet for traction do my hand not slip. We will be using this long line often for running and playing with a bit more freedom! Highly recommend! Especially if you don't have a yard and want ur dog to get more exercise! It will calm ur dog down a lot to be able to use up all the pent up energy by running and you have peace of mind that the dog won't run off!

these long training leashes all look alike to me in the amazon ads, but this particular brand is cheapened up. the clip is tiny, like you would expect on a 4ft leash, not a 40ft one! there is no connector loop on the handle. the fabric is good tho - smooth tough nylon. I also bought one from baapet (brand name) that is the same wide width but have a nice big clip, a connector loop on the handle and even came with a free clicker, same price
