We bought this for a trip to Disneyland. It took some convincing to get our 2 yr. old to put it on. Once it was on it worked well. We liked that it locks so the child can't take it off. It gives enough slack and stretch to give the child some space to walk/run, while still staying close. The negative is that the child it is aware it is on their wrist compared to the one that goes over their chest and hooks on their back. It can be difficult to convince them to put it on. If that isn't a problem for your child, I think its a better option. It seems to be made well, especially for the price.

I used this on my 5 year old when we took a cruise earlier this summer. It worked great and she actually loved wearing it. She could not get far from me and it gave me an extra comfort level.

Never needed a child leash till #4. This one is a whole different person. -type that will run off just because and doesn’t care if anyone is behind her or not. (18mo) -this fits us both well. She doesn’t run off. Easy to use. And for some reason, she doesn’t fight it like I thought she would. It allows her enough freedom while allowing me to sit and enjoy an outing/conversation instead of a constant chase. Quality is just fine too.

The media could not be loaded.  I have a 1 year old who is just now starting to walk, and as someone who was a runner at his age I thought this would be a great way to let him have his freedom but in a safe way. The lock is what sold me. I loved the security of knowing no one can get my baby out of the cuff but me.I just got this in the mail today, and as I was testing out a few things I noticed something about the lock. Literally anything can open it. As long as someone has something to stick into the key hole it’ll unlock. I tried a pair of scissors, a paper clip, a folded up piece of paper and it all worked. The lock is literally useless.I’m glad that it would definitely provide some extra time for me to notice a stranger interacting with my son, but I’m not happy. I’m not happy that the security I was so excited about doesn’t exists. I’m not happy that my son could shove a stick in the key hole and free himself. And I’m not happy that this is essentially just as secure as the back pack option that I passed on because this one had a lock.So if you’re really excited about this because of lock like I was then I suggest finding something that won’t unlock with a piece of paper in place of the key.

I absolutely love this. I’m able to keep my grandchild close to me while we are on our walks because he likes to take off running and he can’t get far with my new purchase♥️ it works great and it’s comfortable for both of us.
