Excellent Wireless Video Surveillance System
I purchased this 16-channel system to replace my 8-year-old Snomet 8-channel wireless system. The Snomet system had several delays and video freeze-ups. Wireless signal strength was weak to moderate at times. I have had this Hiseeu system for one month, and it has been flawless from day one. It came with 8 cameras, and I purchased two additional cameras. It's simply Plug-N-Play, and adding the two extra cameras was a breeze. All cameras have excellent wireless signal strength, with no gaps, delays, or video freeze-ups. The picture quality is excellent, and the full-color night vision is a significant improvement over the old system, which lacked this optional feature. One note: I recommend leaving the Vido anti-flash setting off. The picture may get washed out during daylight hours if it is turned on. The 3 TB hard drive is a plus! The only flaw with the camera is the antenna placement. It needs to be more articulate, like my older camera that has an extra joint right at the base, like your elbow on your arm. The one joint antenna limits the right-to-left travel because the antenna hits the mounting base and restricts the full travel. I had to rotate the camera upside down and then invert the image in the settings on a few of my cameras. This isn't a big deal, and the picture quality was not affected by having the sun bill now at the bottom versus having it on top. I used an HDMI splitter with an HDMI Bluetooth transmitter to broadcast the video to our Living room TV, along with the monitor in my Den. I highly recommend this system

Excelllent system with a lot of functionalty and image quality
This is an excellent system. I went for the 8 camera 4K version as I was upgrading an old camera system (different brand) which was much lower quality and only had 4 cameras. Installation was a breeze as broadly I was doubling up at each of the 4 current locations and could split the power supply (Standard power supply is 12V). The image quality and range/viewing field is brilliant, including night vision. I had a lot of issues with wireless connectivity with the old system, cant say the same for this system, I did pair all the cameras before installing at the locations around the house. They all connected flawlessly and to date are rock solid back to the NVR unit (even the ones with a lower signal strength). I spent a little time locating and connecting the NVR to a viewing screen (HD TV), the options on set up allow you to output a lower resolution image to the screen in case its not 4K capable...the only drawback to this is the images on the screen are not at 4K, I may fix this later but the image is not terrible in 1080P. The set up is real simple and very clear on all of the options the software is actually very good and you can set up each channel/camera for every detection and viewing option, including recording and sending notifications to the App. The Eseecloud app is really good (on an IPHONE) but the notifications can get a bit irritating as the whole system is very good at detecting movement, you do need to persevere on camera adjustments on the NVR to fine tune sensitivity for each channel (or disable/certain times etc..)....But the remote viewing and the app capabilities are very good. Note you have to have an internet connection to the NVR unit for the app to work. I preferred a wired connection and ended up locating one of our Mesh system modules next to the NVR and using the LAN port on this, otherwise you have to set up the wireless connection on the NVR box. I believe this needs a dedicated 2.4ghz wireless connection but I never bothered with that so cant comment. Overall I would highly recommend this system as excellent and it was a pretty good price as well

Just what I wanted!
Initially I was skeptical about this camera system since it was so inexpensive. Most of the camera wifi systems that I was looking at were over $500 and they didn't come with an adequate hard drive or a monitor. This system has a 3TB hard drive and the NVR hub also is the monitor! This really helps in 'decluttering' things. The instructions were a breeze and I was setup in literally 15 minutes with all the cameras working and my cell phone allowed me also to receive the live cameras (Note: you can purchase a subscription if you want to store the data in the Cloud)! I explored the menus (recording, playback, Network). A really neat feature with this system is that if you don't care to view the cameras on your cell phone you can take the NVR off the wifi or wired internet and make it a locally closed system. You are still able to see the live view and the recordings. Another option in the recording section is that you can do 24/7 recording or you can choose to do 'human' event detection for recording. With a 3TB hard drive you should be able to store well over a month of data before overwriting happens. The only thing is that the power cable isn't long enough for outside use, so a DC Power Adapter Extension Cable with 2.1mm x 5.5mm ends will be needed. For 'long' runs pay attention to the AWG gauge wire of the cable. For short runs 3ft-10ft an AWG of 26 is fine but for 100ft consider an AWG of 16. The reason is that a long wire may experience a voltage drop before reaching the camera and then the camera may not operate correctly.

Not as good as some people say
First off this is a okay system, easy to setup plug and play, video seems good most of the time, the things I don't like about it is 1. Playback takes to long and you can't speed it up on the app unless there's a way I don't know. 2. It doesn't always keep recording even though its set on recording all the time. 3. The app sucks 90% of the time. 4. Night vision isn't all that great and color night vision doesn't seem to work no matter what its set on. Would I buy this unit again probably not.

Rated my Security System
This Hiseeu system is OUTSTANDING. I am going to try to be as sort with this comment as I can but I have a lot to tell and all is 100% positive. This system originally came with 4 cameras expandable to 16. This system is doing so good for us I purchased 4 more cameras as my Christmas gift this year which gives us a total of 8. I want to buy more but being a Senior living on a fixed income we really have to watch what we spend but I will be buying more. These cameras have a superb range as well as picture. The photo I'm going to try to post is of one of the cameras pointed at our RV trailer. Keep in mind, this camera is 14 foot up in the air mounted under the eve of my house, and the trailer is 135 foot away from the camera. now, I took the pic from the screen of the monitor so you will see lines in it. I did run into a slight issue about two months ago but their Customer Service took care of it right away. I am 73 years old and have dealt with my share of Customer Service people over the years but I have to say in all honesty, the Customer Service person at Hiseeu was the nicest, most helpful person I have ever had the pleasure in dealing with. So. If any of you out there are interested in a home security system, I personally think you would be doing a dis-service by not using this or a model like it.

Overall great value and decent performance.
Bought this system back in 2020. It's been an operation since then and I can offer a few points to keep in mind but overall this system is very good quality for the features. I had a leftover 12 volt UPS to power the base station so that in the event of a power outage or interruption the base station would always be powered. Originally we had the station set up on the other side of the house which put the cameras the furthest point away and we used repeaters to boost that signal which worked fine but sometimes the frame rate was choppy and there would be dropouts. We since moved the base station closer to the cameras to where there's no need for multiple repeaters and now we just have the one repeater boosting the signal for two of the cameras on the far side of the house. This has yielded a far better performance. I did run into some interference with our house Wi-Fi and the security system. Since they both run in the 2.4 GHZ range I set up static channels (The default selection is dynamic channel adjustment)!so that the house Wi-Fi is on channel 1 and the security system is on channel 11. This has solved the issues of Wi-Fi and video feed interruptions. The power supplies for the cameras while they work fine they do have a limited lifespan. I've had to replace a few of them over the years and recently we just had a lightning storm that took out two of the power supplies. Thankfully they did not damage the cameras themselves. That's been the only maintenance cost in keeping the system going is camera power supplies. The original "IP Pro App" on Android to access the cameras remotely was very problematic. It featured egregious amounts of pop-up ads that were either picture or video that you could not skip until they finish playing. I brought this to the attention of the manufacturer and they told me that the app had been discontinued and I needed to update to the newer "EseeCloud" app, to which I am happy to report that while there are some ads that are in the app, they are far less intrusive and the app seems far more functional. This may have been unique to my experience since I purchased this system back in 2020 and reviewing here in 2025. Overall very happy with the performance. Just keep in mind that camera power supplies and even the base station power supplies will occasionally need to be replaced since they are running 24/7/365.

Effective Home Monitoring
I have received and pre-assembled the set, but have not yet installed it. Everything works well, connections to wifi and the phone app also work well. All cameras were paired on start up and appear to work well. Setup was easy per on screen instructions during initialization. User manual also details steps fairly well.

Value for price and usability is worth it
A worthy product, with a little concern for the amount of bandwidth it chews up if you decide to network it. 4 years on my 1st set and going, added another to my shop. Works fine even at -30*
