These are some VERY nice mugs!I make fancy coffee drinks at home, and I like to observe the layers slowly merge together in anticipation of that first sip of the universe's reward for getting out of bed.These are robust, which I require because I'm too enthusiastic for delicate glassware.I have some Bodum glass mugs, dated, but adequate for coffee viewing. And some 20 ounce beer mugs which I like.I got a Christmas mug as a gift, and the shape is similar to these mugs. I found myself using the Christmas mug regularly, and decided to expand my mug collection to include this style of mug.The only esthetic failure is the vertical ridge on the outside, opposite the handle. It's not extra, it's just an indication of manufacturing.The rim is generous in size, and doesn't touch my nose when I sip. The rim is tilted at a pleasant angle which doesn't create drips. The glass is robust, but not thick. I've dropped them from a standing height to vinyl flooring, and they bounced, and didn't become compromised as far as I can tell. It's a nice weight, not especially heavy. They don't tip easily, so the base is doing its job.It was a little more than I wanted to pay, but I feel they are priced well for the quality.

These glasses are the perfect size, weight and style for my morning coffee. I’ve used them with Keurig and Nespresso machines and couldn’t be happier.

Let me first start by saying that I love these mugs! However, I have had some bad experiences with uses these mugs. They are not - I repeat NOT microwave safe. I got lazy and started boiling my water in the mug instead of using a kettle. I never fill the mug all the way up to leave room for my creamer. On several occasions, the water exploded while still in the microwave. I thought it was because I set the timer too long or because of the deepness of the mug, so I shaved a minute off and started heating the water up for 2 minutes. That seemed to work. One day, after a 2-minute heat I took the mug out (never need a mitt, another thing I love about the mugs, handles are never too hot - for me anyway to touch right out of the microwave), I put my instant coffee in the hot water/mug and it exploded, like a volcano. Luckily, I was not burned; I didn't understand why it happened. This last time, same 2-minute setting, nothing... water didn't seem to have a slow boil, put it in for another minute, still nothing. I put another minute on, watching the mug the entire time. Finally, I said, ok, it has to be hot, even though I don't see a small bubbles, to indicate it's at a hot "boiling" level. I took the mug out, started walking over to the counter and the water exploded out of the mug. It soaked my ceiling and ceiling high cabinets, the floor. Amazingly, I was not scalded... just wet. I'm thinking that since I don't fill the mug all the way up, that when the hot water comes into contact with the hot dry portion of the inside of the mug, it's causing an explosive reaction. So, now, I've got my kettle back on the stove and patiently waiting for my hot water to pour into my favorite mugs. I'm giving these mugs 5-stars, because the above is the only issue I've had with them, and I'm not injured. This problem is solved by just heating my water up in the kettle I paid money for. They are very substantial mugs. I love seeing my morning coffee in these mugs and I love the serving amount that I can enjoy from these mugs. I failed to mention that when the last explosion happened, it scared me terribly and I dropped the hot mug on the floor. It didn't shatter! Would I recommend these mugs, yes, but with the caution of not heating in the microwave.

They arrived well packaged with no damage. Others have complained about lines; there were no visible lines except at the handle. The line is subtle and does not bother me one bit. The entire cup is beautiful to behold even sitting on my shelf. It enhances the beauty of its contents. Sturdy and pleasant to drink from. I really love these mugs. I’ve been trying to more carefully choose the things I use every day so that the things I use are beautiful and functional. These are in the win column.

Heavy, large handle makes mug easy to hold. Sometimes edges are a bit sharp, but overall a decent mug for coffee, tea or hot chocolate.

Even better than expected. Great mugs, sturdy but not clunky.

They wash up so nicely, always look so clear, no rings. The coffee looks so appetizing in them and I think it tastes better. So happy I purchased them!

Very nice size and feel. It holds the heat better than a smaller thinner glass. I have hand washed them as I don’t know if the dishwasher would scratch them.
