Got this since the old one busted and didn’t feel like buying a new container. Works as expected, perfect fit easy to install and keeps water from leaking out the container.

Perfect replacement

This is the OEM product. It’s a little expensive, but it works great because it is the OEM product. I wish it came with instructions. Since it doesn’t, here’s a tip: use a plastic prying item to remove the old part from the jug. Don’t use a steel screw driver. Use a plastic item and gently remove the old item. something like a set of nylon bicycle tire irons work swell for removal. The new one just pops right in after the old one is removed and your jug is good as new! Buy about four of them at a time so you won’t be in a tight spot the next time one of your vents breaks off of it’s little plastic leash. You’re welcome!

use a knife to cut it off flush with the bottle and retrieve it the remainder from inside. This will ensure that the bottle is not distorted bey extracting it forcefully.

I just love Coleman, have lots of their stuff. They sell parts to fix what you may have, in this case an air vent cap for my 30 year old water jug. Perfect fit.
