Honeywell Resideo RCHWES4/U RCHWES4 Wi-Fi Water Leak Detector Rope Sensor , White

I bought this to use with a D-Link DCH-S161 leak detector, which also uses a 3.5mm connector, but comes with a single-point sensor. The two work together perfectly, even though the D-Link uses a 4-conductor connector, and the Honeywell is a 3-conductor. I assume D-Link uses the 4-conductor connection as a standard on other sensors. In the photo, the D-Link plug is on the left, and the Honeywell is on the right. Now I can detect water anywhere along the 4' extension cable.

The connectors are a bit bigger than the alternatives. But otherwise, these seem as good as they are.

We installed this to keep watch on our house while we are on the road. It is very easy to hook up and great to use.

I've used several leak detectors over the years, and this one has a really novel design. I wanted to detect a leak from the back of a refrigerator, and the slender cord design allows monitoring narrow spaces in a way the standard boxy ones don't.

These things are awesome. Very easy to program. I bought them after a very expensive dishwasher flood ruined my kitchen and finished basement. Next time an accident happens, I'll be notified quickly and be able to prevent the damage.

These work great but are pricey....

The added length helps me use one sensor to provide cover in front of my ac/furnace, water heater, and water softener. Much cheaper and simpler than adding multiple sensors.

I needed an extender so My water leak detector would reach upstairs while the actual detector end was downstairs - works terrific!
