After reading a number of "not-so-satisfied" reviews about the Tape King tape gun, I was a little hesitant to purchase it. However, as I am always in need of a great tape gun, I just "took-the-plunge," said "what the heck," and purchased it. I'm glad that I trusted my instincts; my instincts did not prove me wrong. This tape gun is an absolutely outstanding product. In the past I've owned countless tape guns, and none of them served my needs, nor my expectations. The Tape King tape gun FAR EXCEEDED my expectations. I'm very mechanically inclined, so setting up and using a new tape gun was the least of my worries; but there were no worries with the Tape King tape gun. There is absolutely NO setup required. This tape gun was ridiculously easy to put into service. Just devote about five minutes of your precious time to reading the well-documented, easy-to-follow instructions, and then "get to taping." My Tape King tape gun went from the box to completion of a number of taping projects in ten minutes. I am very impressed with the quality, the performance, the durability, and the simply brilliant design of this tape gun. And, as an added bonus, Tape King packages two (2) tape guns and an extra roll of tape in a sturdy box. Now that I've put the Tape King tape gun through its paces, and it has proven itself admirably, I can toss all the other tape guns I've accumulated, and that are just collecting dust in my garage. To the reader: I rarely give a product "Five Stars," but the Tape King tape gun definitely earned its well-deserved "Five Stars."

This strong tape dispenser is great for 3 inch wide tape. I love how I only need to run the tape through the box once since it's so wide. Sturdy dispenser and does it's job well. Never have the issue where the tape gets caught and tapes items pretty smoothly. The dispenser also comes with a tape and that tape quality is nice and sticks well.

This was good enough, for a tape dispenser, but now that it has been in use for 1 year - in a household, not a shipping/receiving area - the clear plastic guard part broke off. This actually makes it easier to use, because that part was always in the way for certain tape-dispensing maneuvers, but now we have the remaining sharp edge to deal with. My husband will likely have to grind down the excess plastic edge that was left behind. This tape dispenser is not as easy on my wrists as my old dispenser, but that old one, after 20 years of regular use, finally had issues with its handle and I had to replace it. (It was still cutting tape just fine, through). This one by Tape King seems to be industrial enough, but still not as comfortable as I would like, nor as easy to dispense tape as my old one. On a good note, this one has a strong spring and never lets the tape get out of alignment. I have had that happen with other dispensers, before (at school, where the quality was not very good).

These work great and you can actually get the end of the tape and don’t have to look for it for 30 minutes

Love the tape gun very sturdy and durable however tape quality is your preference if you're going to use cheap tape I don't recommend this but if you're going to use HD clear then this is the gun for you

Well made, works great

The screws that hold the parts together stripped out within about 30 minutes of use. The assembly with the roller, cutting piece and tape flattening plastic gadget started tipping sideways in use. On close examination the screws were falling out and when I tried to tighten them, they just spun freely in the plastic mounting holes. I was able to keep using it that day by fixing it myself so I would not be without a tape gun, by using some oversized screws that were able to fasten it all back together.

I bought this because I couldn't find a tape gun locally to do something tape which won't fit your standard 2 inch tape gun. This one is a full 3 inches and sturdy. Have only started using it but it seems great.

This has made the job of packing boxes ready for our house move that bit easier and quicker. Easy to load and easy to use. Not having to constantly look for and pick at the end of the tape to get started is the main benefit. The cutter has saved having to keep grabbing I’m for the scissors too. It’s definitely speeded up the whole process of building the boxes and sealing up the bubble wrap. Well worth the price to save that time. The cutter is very sharp so make sure you replace the cover when you’re not using it. It does it’s job very well.

The tape gun is excellent - the tape cutter is excellent and cuts the tape easily. I have found many that don't cut very well - this one is superb and I would strongly recommend it. I do prefer the "silent" tape though, rather than the one supplied with the gun (but it's still good tape).

Nice strong dispenser, worth the extra couple of pound
