THEY HOLD THE PHONE TO THE TOP OF THE DASH VERY WELL. TOO WELL, BUT IF YOU JUST USE A LITTLE BIT OF THE AREA ON YOUR PHONE IT WILL REALEASE EASILY. DON'T JUST PUT THE WHOLE BACK OF YOUR PHONE ON THE PAD, IT WILL STICK SO WELL THAT THE PAD WILL PULL AWAY FROM THE DASH WHEN REMOVING THE PHONE.

with this phone being big and I don't really have any other place I can put my phone except on the dash. this works perfectly. I wanted something that would not block my vison when driving and this works perfectly. I have not had any issues with phone coming loose while driving. if you check out you tube a guy made a video driving really fast in an empty parking lot to show how the phone does not move no matter how fast he drove. that is what sold me on getting this and it does work.

My phone sticks to this thing like glue, but the pad doesn't stick to my dashboard.... I've tried cleaning an area on the dash with cleaner and then cleaning it with alcohol, but when I grabbed my phone the whole pad comes with it.

This thing sticks to almost anything, and yet easily peels away. WHen it gets dirty, just wash lightly with dish soap and water and its back to new.

It does what it says. Give it a clean and it sticks like new! Superb grip, even on a curved dash. If it’s completely flat and your phone is on it, it can over heat
