Power converter
So far it works really well. I bought 2. One for a spare. The price was good.

it got rained on but it still works
I dried it and it still works fine

Stable power
I have a few of these in service. All the others are passive and in use for years. Stable, constant, reliable power. Only reason for dropping a star on this one is the fan. Excessively loud and apparently not under any thermal control. The PSU is ice cold because it's powering. 40w max custom PC build but fan runs all the time. No worry, it'll be replaced by a silent fan soon enough.

Voltage adjustable only 11.16V to 12.72VDC
This is a newer design with SMD components and a less cluttered PC board layout. Turning the adjustment to the LEFT increases to a maximum output voltage of 12.72 volts. Max swing of 1.56 volts. (other brands swing 6V). Fan is always on low when cool, high speed when hot.

Only useful for basement or garage
It works but I never did much with the voltage measurement and adjustment. The fan is really annoying. It never stops despite the claims that it only turns on when needed. It's very noisy for a fan.

I works, but the voltage adjustment had already been maxed out at 12.13 volts
I have this connected to some LED lights. The load is low at this time because I am still in the process of adding more lights. I had hoped to adjust the voltage up to near 13 volts, as the capability was stated of doing that in the Q&A section of this product. However, it came already maxed out at 12.13 volts. The reason this is important is to trim the voltage for where the wire will be connected to the LEDs so the voltage there will be adjusted to 12 volts with the load applied. The main wire leading to the LEDs adds resistance the longer the cable is and when load is applied. With a load, the power supply still is putting out 12.13 volts to the power supply, but the LEDs are not seeing it. I will replace the main wire with a heavier gauge to see if that will help. I am currently using an 18 gauge wire and will switch over to 16 gauge. The fan runs continuously, even though the engraving on the power supply says it runs based on a thermostat. If stone cold at 56 degrees F, the fan comes on as soon as the power is applied to the unit, even if there is no load. If this is a problem for you, then look elsewhere, but I think they are all designed the same. Read the reviews. The fan is a bit noisy, but no more or less than any other fan this size. To reduce the noise, a larger fan spinning slower would be better. However, these are stamped out, so don't expect to find one designed that way. If it bothers me I might modify it myself. However, mine is in the basement, so I probably will not.So far the unit does not get hot, though, not all of the LEDs are attached yet. I hope to be at 60% capacity of the power supply by next week. None of my wires get warm. The power supply has a sticker on it that says it is 500 watts, however the description above says 480 watts and it is correct; it is a 480 watt unit. The selling point of this power supply is that it is much less expensive than others that are just like it. However, if you are looking to tweak the voltage upward, then this unit is not for you.

Works alright
Product came in but has a dent on it

Noisy (and I don't just mean the fan)
Powering WS2812 lights and an ESP8266 with this was impossible because it put out so much RF noise from the chassis and via the power cables that the controller kept resetting due to memory corruption. Already returned and replaced with a nicer one.And yes, everyone else here is right about the fan. It's really loud and never stops.
