For my cat it does. It basically cuts down on her nervous behaviors: meowing, skittishness, clawing delicate human flesh, etc. without making her sleepy. I use it for nail trimming, going to the vet, and travel. She likes the taste, too.

i read that citric and propionic acids are not totally safe for dogs. why are they inactive ingredients?

According to the Encyclopedia of Toxicology (third edition, 2014) and propionic acid is generally regarded as safe by the US food and drug administration and has shown a little toxicity in humans and other organisms.

Do these contain Suntheanine brand of L-theanine? it is not shown on the label, but is in the description.

You, know I asked my vet who is also supportive of natural supplements, I sent her a photo of the label and she told me these are safe for my Great Dane. They work great, and my dogs are my kids if it’s not healthy and safe , I don’t invest in it for them. My suggestion is to send a photo of the whole label to your vet.😊👍
