in the past i tried using these mini-fridges but those two did a terrible job cooling. it's been several years and i'd hoped the technology used had improved, so i gave it another try. i purchased this to use upstairs so every time someone wanted a cool drink they didn't have to run down two flights of stairs to the kitchen. i plugged it in shortly after it arrived and placed a few cans of soda inside. after a couple hours i thought to place our indoor/outdoor thermometer inside to see just how effective this was. i was very surprised and happy to find that it had cooled room temperature sodas down to 46.9F. that's nearly as cold as our full size refrigerator. also as to noise it is extremely quiet. it isn't silent but near enough. i have not used the heating function as of yet so i can't say anything on that point. the controls are very simple, just a couple switches on the back that are easy to read. it comes with two electric cords, one for home and one for a vehicle. you can easily fit 8 standard soda cans inside but you do need to remove the two sliding trays to do so. as for quality? i have zero complaints and encountered no issues or quality control defects. i should add it is very light weight and easy to move around. i am very happy with this mini-fridge and would purchase again if needed for any reason.

Lasted roughly a year each time. The first purchase was covered under warranty and replaced because it died in under a year. The second one (same size, slightly newer model) lasted just over a year, taking me outside of warranty. I don’t think this fridge is any worse than other brands, and this company is actually more reputable than some of the off-brand sellers marketing similar products at the same price point. After much research, I decided not to replace this fridge for a 3rd time because skincare fridges made with thermoelectric cooling (which is most/all skincare fridges on the market) just are not worth it. Not only is thermoelectric cooling a massive energy-suck (a full size fridge uses less energy per hour/day, for example) but the death of these fridges is almost an inevitability. The cooling system is really not built to last as long as food-grade fridges are. It cools itself by creating extreme temps on the inside/outside so the backside gets quite warm, but this causes the unavoidable ice blocks/leakage that most people get inside. Thermoelectric cooling is also LOUD so this fridge is way noisier than a food-safe mini fridge of the same size. I have given up on the skincare fridge dream and instead just keep products that I want to be cooler inside their own container in my normal fridge. Most mini fridges that are actually built to last (and for food safety) are not very cheap or small, so I wasn’t able to find a suitable replacement.
