Amazing read (My short note for the book)
Part 1 Wealth - *Building Wealth : Productize Yourself - Become the best in the world at what you do. Keep redefining what you do until this is true. Specific knowledge cannot be thought, but it can be learned. Specific knowledge is the most important. No one can compete with you on being you. Play long term games - All the returns in life, whether in wealth, relationships or knowledge, come from compound interests. You surely have studied something in school which you won't need in life. These are learning experiences. You did learn. You learned the value of hard work; you might have learned something that went deep into your psyche and became a piece of what you're doing now. Intentions Don't Matter. Actions Do - Embrace accountability and take business risks under your own name. Society will reward you for responsibility, equity and leverage. Retirement is when you stop sacrificing today for an imaginary tomorrow. When today is complete, in and of itself, you're retired. Lusting for money is bad for us because it is a bottomless pit. It will always occupy your mind. If you love money, and you make it, there's never enough. There is never enough because the desire is turned on and doesn't turn off at some number. It's a fallacy to think it turns off at some number . What making money will do is solve your money problems. It will remove a set of things that could get in the way of being happy. Your real resume is justa catalog of an your sufferings. If I ask you to describe your real life too yourself, and you look beach from your deathbed at the interesting things you've find, it's all going to be around sacrifices you made, the hard things you did. *Building Judgement : What we wish to be true, clouds our perception of what is true. Suffering is the moment when we can no longer deny reality. The good news is, the moment of suffering - when you're in pain - is the moment of truth. Praise specifically, criticize generally. If you cannot decide, the answer is no. Learn to Love To Read. Part 2 Happiness - Happiness is what's there when you remove the sense of something is missing in your life. Memories and identity are burdens from the past preventing us from living freely in the present. Acceptance. You're going to die one day, and none of this is going to matter. So enjoy yourself. Appreciate the moment and live in it. Most of our suffering comes from avoidance. Accept it physically, don't suffer mentally. Easy Choices -> Hard Life Hard Choices -> Easy Life eg. Exercise, Eating Healthy Food *Philosophy - To find a worthy mate, be worthy of a worthy mate. Before you can lie to another, you must first lie to yourself and that makes you lose trust in yourself. Understand the long term consequences of your actions. Health , love and your mission, in that order. Nothing else matters.

Book is interesting, thoughtful
Good book, nice read. To me, as a beginner, I felt it helped make my thought process wider. There are good ideas discussed about health, work, and some tips to make you realize what you love to do. The book is short and not boring. I didn’t get stuck anywhere; it was a smooth read with not much long explanations. I am a student, not an expert, but a beginner myself.

I just finished reading The Almanack of Naval Ravikant, and it’s easily one of the best self-help books I’ve ever read. It strikes a perfect balance between self-development, wealth creation, and philosophy — without ever feeling preachy or repetitive. Naval is an exceptionally intelligent thinker who distills complex ideas into clear, memorable principles about life, happiness, and leverage. The book flows effortlessly; every page feels like a conversation with a wise mentor who actually lives what he teaches. What truly sets this book apart is how timeless it feels — it’s not about hacks or trends, but about building a mindset that compounds over a lifetime. And the reading list at the end? Worth the price of the book alone. If you’re interested in living intelligently, achieving freedom, and thinking for yourself, this is a must-read.
