This projector really surprised me. Even during the day the color and clarity are enough to make you feel like you aren't watching TV using a projector. The sound quality is good and can get pretty loud, especially if indoors. Gamed on it a little bit with my Nintendo switch and the game was smooth and not choppy. I highly recommend.

For what it is, it is well thought out. The interface could use some work, but the picture quality is decent for a portable. I wish the sound were better, but it wasn't bad.

Bought this for using outside and it works as advertised. Picture quality and sound are great! Excellent projector, we will use it inside too. I love the compact size, auto adjust, connectivity. The only glitch I found was buffering when using the included QS01 ATV Dongle and watching YouTube TV, so I used a HDMI adapter to my iPhone, and no buffering.

This projector was great overall: simple to set up, portable, quickly connected to wifi and streaming, the picture quality was nice, the sound quality was decent out of the box, and all while being relatively affordable. However, this projector was not bright enough for use as an outdoor projector in shaded/low light as implied in the description and is really usable only after sunset. Luckily the seller, Premium AV, was responsive and helpful throughout the return process and also got me the product I needed!

This projector is probably the best all around outdoor/portable projector available. First, it is cute and aesthetically pleasing. While the resolution is 1080p, there are many positive features to take into account. The projector is made for carrying (and some dropping). It features an adjustable front leg in order to vary the angle. The eye protection feature works as expected. It also has a battery. I can confirm it will last you at least 2+ hours. We were able to watch the entire Karate Kid movie from 1984 outdoors, in a beautiful wooded setting in the PNW. And the kids loved it! One piece of advice is that you purchase a Roku stick. Google/Android TV is ... leaves much to be desired. The roku sticks from around 2019 (without the additional wireless dongle) are still available on eBay and fit nicely within the enclosed compartment on the projector. What else? Oh, the sound is great. Even outside. Even in a very large open area surrounded by thick woods. Even sitting 20+ feet away. You won't regret it. I would not waste my time (re-)trying the alternatives. PS - I am told BenQ also makes excellent indoor projectors. It is my plan to get one sometime in the future.

I shopped around and did a lot of reviewing to find the right projector for my needs. My brand new projector upon opening it out of the box has dust, scratches and crack INSIDE of the plastic covering on the lens. I’m honestly really shocked a company could have that poor of quality control to let a non working unit go out to a customer like this. The picture is actually non viewable, it’s 100% blurry. Extremely disappointed in BenQ, they need to make this right!

I set the projector up where I wanted it, against the wall, but at this distance it generated an image that is too big for my screen, which is on the opposite wall. The image size is completely determined by the distance and cannot be changed, even with the keystone adjustments (keystone settings change only the shape, not the size). I moved the projector forward, which puts it in an inconvenient position in the middle of my room and means I would have to move it back after every use. I also risk tripping over the cord. I never imagined that this $600 projector would provide no way to change the image size via settings. The manual even mentions “zoom” settings in the setup section but then on the specs page near the end it says zoom is “fixed”. Why even mention zoom at all? Very misleading. Note that my $250 Vankyo I am replacing had the ability to change image size (I am replacing it because the image was poor and developed a burned spot). I’m sending this one back because this issue is a dealbreaker for me. Everything else was decent, although wish the remote had a backlight, since we are obviously using the projector in the dark.

Small, convenient, and good for camping!

This projector has a good picture, a good connection, and a good function; it boasts of its speaker. But the project should focus on the picture. Its 2D keystone makes me disappointed; it has no eye protection as it promised. Seriously, it loses the picture sometimes, it loses the sound another time.
