Always makes my horses hooves look amazing. Easy to apply with the applicant brush. Applies thick and hydrates down.

Recommended by a vet specializing in equine podiatry
My horse suffered a hoof puncture during the long WA wet winter. Once it healed, my vet, who specializes in equine podiatry, recommended Rain Maker. It works wonderfully, maintaining the proper balance of moisture in the hoof. And it made the WA mud slide right off when I rinsed his hooves. Doesn't smell great but the consistency is perfect for application, at least when temps are over 40°. Below that, it tends to become too thick to spread easily. Overall a quality product and Amazon has the very best price. I've seen it in local feed stores for as much as $27 per bottle.

Vernerable product
This is a tried and true hoof dressing that does as much as any of them, and is easier to apply. I'm not sure what scent as to do with it, but it does smell like old time horse care products which makes it seem authentic. Maybe a younger reviewer would prefer it to smell like something from Starbuck's.

Good hoof dressing, but not as good as the old product.
This is a good standard hoof dressing for nourishing and rehydrating hooves. It is over priced and could use more lanolin, but it is probably the best product currently on the market for hoof dressings.

This is easy to use and works well
We have been using this that last 6 months, it really helps the hoofs especially in hot climate, it helps keep the hoofs soft. We use this daily on three horses and it last one month. It’s a good deal when you set it up on auto renewel you actually save about $18 per jar. This stuff works really well.

Your horse will thank you- just buy the thing!
Living in Texas it’s dry all 4 seasons. There’s about a month we get all the rain and then it quickly absorbs into the sand/clay/dirt/grit etc ground leaving pretty rough conditions for hooves. Recommend by our farrier we ordered asap. Came quickly, sealed and full. When we opened it I expected a more oil smell however it smells like BBQ sauce - not sure why but it does. I brush, pick and soak their feet and while wet apply Rain maker to lock it in. It give the hoof a shiny finish, with a thick layer in one application. We found it effective in helping our rescued founder mini horse to get her back on her feet. It doesn’t stick to hair or tail that I have seen.

excellent product; easy to apply;
My horse's hooves were very dry as the weather has been in a drought. It immediately made the frog, sole, and outside of the hoof softer. Applicator brush kept my hand clean.

Very effective
I’ve used this for years on multiple horses. I find it to very effective in restoring and adding moisture. It sticks to the hoof, well long enough to do its job.
