Super fast
Recently bought a new Mac so couldn’t understand why it was taking sooooo long for photos to upload, switch between albums and edit. A friend recommended the Samsung T7 which has been a lifesaver! I purchased this external drive after having problems with other brands of drives . It is perfect for using with a laptop computer; especially when travelling.I had also purchased a case for it for travelling and so far, I have been happy with it.The drive arrived in good time and was securely packaged.

As fast as advertised
Works well with my Apple Studio. I was surprised at how much faster 2022 external storage is (compared to ~4 years ago) with latest USB standards.

Fast!
I use this as an external SSD to edit my videos using Final Cut Pro with. It's not as fast as the internal SSD on my Macbook, but it's fast enough not to get the spinning beach ball at any point.
