Bought this for refilling the steering on my sea star helm. It’s easy to use, screwed right in the treads fit great so leakage. Highly recommend buying for filling or refilling, takes the mess out of doing it any other way

I connected this to the fill on the steering wheel and to the hydraulic steering fluid container. There were no leaks. Simply holding the container upside down allowed fluid to drip into hub. I worked the wheel from stop to stop until there were no more bubbles and fluid backed up into the hose slightly. I removed the container from the hose, placed my thumb on the open end, then I was able to unscrew the other end without spilling a drop of fluid. It worked great. I did notice that the old fluid was brownish while the new fluid was clear. I will make it a winter project to flush the entire system. For now, a top off will do.

This product gets the job done but they are very pricey for what you're getting oh, but it does get the job done. I utilized after installing a new autopilot.

This tube connects tightly between the fluid container and the 'reservoir fill opening' on the steering. It makes efficient filling, bleeding, or purging the steering system viable for almost any boaters. Absolutely necessary but they charge way too much for such a simple system. In fairness, just a plastic container cap, plastic hose, and plastic threaded fitting could be offered for only a few dollars.

Not much to comment on here. It does what it's supposed to. Enables me to bleed my hydraulic steering system myself, which saves me money. Instead of poking a hole in the new bottle of oil as per the instructions, I cut the bottom out of an old oil bottle, attached that bottle to this hose to use as a funnel, attached it to the helm pump, and poured the new oil into the "funnel" old bottle. That way I am not left with a new bottle of oil with a hole in it.
