There are zillions of possibilities on the web: none really practical, unless you want to sacrifice a cup-holder and stink out the center of your car. This is a nice size, well made, and can--if you're so inclined!--be made into a nice solid set-up so that it's removable for emptying....1) Buy a super-adhesive 90-mm disc, e.g. the sort that attaches a smartphone or Garmin to your dash, and attach it firmly to a reasonably flat place, preferably near the car window. 2) Glue a 2" OD steel washer to the disc with *a little* epoxy or urethane (Gorilla) glue . Let it set overnight. Don't use 2-sided tape or Velcro: the adhesives give up in the heat from the sun. (3) Put three or four thin 1/2" neodymium magnets on the washer. (4) Attach the ashtray to the magnets (yes, they're powerful!). To remove the ashtray, simply slide it sideways off the magnets. (5) If you're feeling fussy (shiny chrome doesn't go well with dark dash material), spray paint it with some dark gray paint to go with your dash color (using a piece of wire to hang the thing free while you spray).The 4 stars reflects the extra work to make the thing practical.

Really nice looking. If you have to have an ashtray, this is clean and modern. Could pass for a paperweight.

Way to big for travel and doesn't stay closed ... deal breaker 🙁
