Did the trick + looks great!
After doing a bunch of research about why I was having low input levels with my new Shure SM7B Mic + Focusrite Scarlett Solo Audio Interface I decided to try a pre-amp booster. The stealth seemed like the best bang for the buck and sure enough it worked like a charm. The Stealth went in nicely between the Shure and the Scarlett and blends in perfectly on the boom arm so I don't have an extra box and cable sitting on my desk. I can now turn down the gain on my audio interface and get much more input from the mic than I did previously and with no extra noise. Really great product and less expensive than the Cloudlifter that was recommended to me. Very happy customer here, thanks Coda!

AMAZING LIFE ALTERING PRODUCT!!!
100/10 Didn't save my marriage but at least I'm not sad about it . I have a Black Lion Audio 2x2 interface and a Shure SM58 , even at Max gain I was barely audible without post processing of ~24db. Now I am nice and loud at 50-60% gain!!! Quality seems identical to without if not better than before. Easy install!!! ( literally plug it into the back of your mic. enable 48 volt/phantom on interface.) high quality packaging and quality feel to the plug and a surprising heft to it!!! These are probably insanely cheap to make and the margin of profit must be huge but be for real you aren't making your own, and if you do it won't be this nice. Overpriced for what it is? kiiiinnnda but idk there's far more expensive versions of these that have bad reviews. so imo, GREAT VALUE FOR ITS COMPETITION 100/10

Boosts without Buzz
Great product. I like this one because it is inline in the XLR setup, and doesn't require a second cable. It can plug right into your mic end or the audio interface at the other end. Works great

Great bang for your buck
Works fantastic and for far less money than its competitors. Don’t waste your money with others. This is by far the best bang for your buck. Quality is great and highly improved my stream audio

Blew Preamps on 2 interfaces
I bought 2 of these abut a year ago. They worked great at first but all of a sudden I noticed the preamp on my Focusrite interface was not working. I chucked it up to the interface being old since I'd had it about 5 years. So I bought a new Mackie interface. Everything was working quite well and I don't use it a lot. But noticed that one day I had to turn up the gain in OBS, which was unusual because with the in line booster I had plenty of volume and never had to add any before. So I didn't think much about it but then about 2 weeks later, tried to use the setup and nothing. Mic preamp is blown on my new Mackie interface. I tried different cable, mics, and both of the Coda Stealth units and got nothing. So be very weary of this product.

It requires 48 V phantom power
It boosts the signal perfectly with no discernible distortion or noise (of course you need to provide it with 48 V phantom power which it does not pass on to the microphone! Which is exactly what you want). Great price and an overall great device.

Did not work for me
This did nothing for my setup . No increase whatsoever. I am not sure if it's my fault or the mic I used or the mixer. Idk. So I'm just rating it low because it did not work for me, as the device looked quality and came in good packaging . The mic worked on its own with an external preamp but not with this and when I tried using it on my air 192 it did not work. Just in case anyone has the same issues. I used a weymic condenser mic also found on Amazon. It was for vocal sample recordings

Works perfectly with sm7b
Just got it today, works perfect with the shuresm7b. No issues and does the job. A little more expensive than I would like, but regardless it does the job.

Stealth in-Line Mic Preamp, Active Booster for Dynamic and Ribbon Microphones - Reduce Noise and Add Clarity to Your Podcast or Livestream, by Coda Music Technologies Well -- i went from a cheaper "Mayano" dynamite inline preamp to this one which is a bit better in terms of adding a bit more power behind the Shure sm7b -- i find this pretty clean sounding whilst adding a bit more juice. The only thing i that is a bit annoying is that its a bit thick so it gets in the way of the RODE PSA100 scissor mount at certain mounting positions. It works just fine --- just OCD. I'm not sure why others say "this is really noisy" because it isnt. Perhaps others have some EM noise in the area? i'm not sure but this is whisper quiet to me and doesnt introduce any noticeable noise to the signal

I don't have experience with other similar products so I can't compare, but I'm extremely satisfied with this product. Without it, I would always find myself playing around with filters searching for a way to get the sound quality I was looking for from various dynamic mics, but adding this mic activator really helped my audio reach what I feel is its true potential.
