Hornby R30005 Terrier K & E S R 'Bodiam' No. 3 Steam Locomotive, Blue

I enjoy the older style locomotives for my hobby.they have more character than diesel freight trains currently on the market.did my research on the British model trains and the majority of their train lines are mostly turn-of-the-century to mid-forties-fifeties style locomotives.i saw this loco on Amazon and it was reasonably priced.note:this loco is smaller than your basic ho trains,but this one is a real on the track,good slow creeper also.i hooked up four passenger cars and loco had no problems pulling them,at top speed,even.a fast little "sucka".would definitely recommend.(plus hornby offers other colors and railway names,but this bodiam terrier is really sharp in blue paint scheme!)

Beautiful little train. Well made. Works well

This is the best little locomotive Ihave ever owned. Loves the track and can pull the longest of load. This little feller is a real champion workhorse.

Runs very well, nice and slow when needed, fast enough for you to worry about it launching off the track on curves.

Good value for lovely engine.
