Like many say, the size is perfect for a bowl of ramen or single serving of anything. IF you like it because of the cover, skip this. There is no easy way to pick the cover up because there is NO grip. Even while cool, I had a difficult time getting a grip so it was impossible while hot. The reviews here seem skewed.

Bought this for work. Love my ramen and other noodle soups. I like a little extra broth and this handles the volume.
