No fuss no mas! The kit passed the 6-hour Synology memory test three times on a DS1821+ NAS.
They just work...removed the default 4GB ram and installed this 32GB kit in my Synology DS1821+. Took less than 5 minutes and DSM 7 identified the 32G ram right away. I'm now performing a memory test from the Synology Assistant program that'll take a couple hours. I do not anticipate any problems based on past reviews and answered questions. EDIT: I performed three memory tests on this ram per Synology's recommendation. Each test took about 6.0 - 6.5 hours and all tests passed flawlessly. In all three tests, it seemed that at the 75% mark, the test slowed down significantly, and it seemed as though the NAS was frozen ... for a really long while. Be patient, it's not frozen. It just takes its time to do its tests. Just set it up and go do something for 6 hours and all will be good afterwards.

Works in my ds1621+
Just installed in my system. No issues booted right up Was nervous as I've never heard of this company but based on the other reviews thought I'd give it a try. The price difference between this and the stuff from synology is nuts

Compatible with Synology DS1522+ NAS.
For the USA version of the Synology DS1522+ NAS, it has been reliable without any messages of incompatibility or of non-supported RAM. So far even after several updates to the NAS OS, it has worked flawlessly. You may not need more ram than the standard 8gb if you use it only for photos, files, and as a family web server. I tested memory utilization and mostly stayed at 12 percent after all pictures and files were synchronized since most family users will occasionally use it for photo syncing only. More ram mostly benefits a single virtual OS running on this NAS box or having many users utilize the services at the same time. The processor will probably not handle more than one virtual image anyway and only businesses with many active concurrent users will actually benefit from having more RAM. I will update this page if issues crop up in the future and will find out how customer support handles the issue.

works perfectly in synology ds923+
I installed the 32GB pair in a Synology DS923+. This worked perfectly and no warnings were triggered by the Synology software. This is a crucial upgrade if you plan to run a lot of containers or want additional RAM for caching recently accessed files.

It is normally recognized by DS923+. There are some problems later, so we'll have to wait and see. I'm satisfied right now. It also passed the memory test. I wanted the SK hynix chip to come, but I got what I wanted. Because I am Korean, I know SK hynix's technical skills.

Worked in my synology
Bought this after the RAM crucial said would work didn’t. This worked as stated. Installed on my DS3617xs without hassle. Packaging didn’t look like the product picture 🤷♂️

Works great with Synology 923+ no warnings!
This memory was one of the best choices recommended by one British guy from YT. No warning on NAS interface - system can see full 32gb. This one is great for the money. No problem installing too, just like any other DDR replacement - pull the pins, remove the old one, click in the new ones. No crashes or errors. Checked for it before posting.

A differenza di altri prodotti, dove solo nei commenti qualche utente segnala che con il proprio server Synology la memoria ha funzionato o meno, in questo caso è direttamente il produttore che afferma la compatibilità direttamente nella descrizione del prodotto. Nel mio caso il mio serve Synology DS923+ non completa nemmeno il boot: il server rimane in uno stato incerto ed irraggiungibile via browser. Reinserita la sua memoria originale tutto funziona di nuovo.

I've set this DS923+ with 32GB of ram a shown above. It's working great with a few moderately sized 4TB WD Red Pro drives. Customer has it running with Synology Directory and SMB / NFS Shares. They're going to love this. Picture preview doesn't show it but those are the hardware numbers showing it IS working with the DS923+ RAM is also ECC as advertised. The reason I gave 4 stars is this ram came in little pink antistatic bags NOT the hard plastic case as pictured above. It was shipped in a flimsy bubble wrapped envelope as well. The product is great but I'm not impressed by how it was packaged / shipped.
