Wonderful product. I used some to make vanilla and the aroma was heavenly!! The beans were dark, moist, and rich with flavor. I'll be ordering more to make Christmas presents... just don't tell anyone!!

I make my own vanilla extract. I fill a mason jar with beans and fill it with Rum and another jar I fill with cheap vodka. Takes a minimum of 6 months but it's better than store bought extract and you can replenish the alcohol from time to time.

The bean were skinny and a bit short, but more than the noted 26 beans were included. Weightwise, it was a generous amount of beans. They had a fair amount of oils which even coated my fingers during splitting. Very aromatic. I could easily smell them through the package which implies use quickly and perhaps seal inside another heat-sealing bag for longer storage.

I received 29 lovely, fragrant, and pliable vanilla beans, very nicely vacuum sealed. I split 9 of them to replenish my ongoing "fifth" bottle of vanilla that has been in existence for about 6 years. I sealed the remaining 20 for later use. First time buying this brand, and quite happy with the quality, aroma, and value of my beans. I sent the same package to my daughter, to keep her batch going, as well. Some might think it's controversial, but I use spiced rum to make my vanilla. It gives it a little head start, for the same cost as vodka or white rum, and we love the results! (Sam's Club Member's Mark Spiced Rum is what I use. Very good flavor, very reasonable cost! )

Great bean to make my vanilla!

They have a beautiful aroma, are nice and soft, and they appear to be fresh. But they’re quite small. I guess that’s one of the differences between Grade A and Grade B beans. I bought these to make vanilla extract. Most recipes called for 6-8 beans or one oz of vanilla beans per one cup of alcohol. I didn’t realize that grade B beans are smaller. These 25 grade B beans weighed in at just 2 oz. It took 12-13 beans to weigh one oz. So I had just enough beans to make 16 oz of extract, not the 24 oz I was hoping for. These are still very good beans. It’s just important not to be distracted by the number of beans in the pkg. It’s the weight that matters.
