Great little bulb
A tad fiddly at the connecting stage (I use this with a Hue Bridge). At first it couldn’t be found, so I had to scan the QR code on the bulb, which is the method I would recommend to those wanting to use this with a bridge. But once connected, it works great! I use the whole set of this a a few other E27 bulbs with HomeKit, so I’m able to turn on and off with voice command via my HomePod mini. The bridge makes the connection very stable because it is wired. I’ve never had any problem. You can also tell Siri to dim it or turn it up to a certain percentage. Would highly recommend if you have a Hue Bridge.

Hue are expensive
Hue products are expensive but I have some 10 year old bulbs so they do last and I haven’t had an issue with connectivity.

As with all hue bulbs, really easy to configure and great quality
As with all Philips Hue products I find these so easy to setup in the app and in all my years of using them I've never had any fail (yet)!!

Good quality, but very expensive for a relatively dim bulb.
These E14 470 lumen bulbs are usually either about the same price as, or more expensive than, the larger and much brighter E27 1100 lumen bulbs, which makes them feel quite overpriced even for Philips Hue. Additionally the E27 bulbs are almost always included in sale events, but the E14 bulbs never are, meaning sometimes one E14 bulb can cost as much as two E27 bulbs! As with all Hue White Ambiance bulbs the headline lumen figure is not the full story. These bulbs only output their peak 470lm at a cool white colour temperature of 4000K, however set these to a warm white (2700K) akin to an old fashioned incandescent bulb and the max output is reduced to 320lm. Go all the way to 2200K and this will be even lower. If you just have the odd wall/table/bedside lamp requiring these then the price is just about bearable, but I cannot recommend them for main ceiling lights as you would require so many bulbs (5 just to equal a single 100W incandescent bulb at 2700K) that the price would be ridiculous, even buying in multipacks. It would probably cost less, and be much brighter, to replace the fitting with one that takes a couple of E27 bulbs. Additionally with only the top half of these bulbs illuminating if they are mounted high up they really need to be pointing downwards (as seen in Philips own pictures) or much of the light is wasted just illuminating the ceiling. The bulbs themselves are of course the usual good quality you would expect from Philips Hue, connecting and operating reliably through the Hue Bridge. It should be noted these bulbs are a fair bit larger than a standard E14 candle bulb; about 117mm long by 39mm diameter compared to about 100mm by 35mm.

Light bulbs
Very good. Lots of great colour combinations and brightness control. Can be controlled from my phone. Very pleased with them.

Hue light what more is there to say
If you have the Hue eco system then you will be buying this or other Hue bulbs. I don't use the bluetooth as I have the hub and wish to control when away from the house especially in these early dark nights. Light temperature varies from warm, cool to daylight and is a repeat purchase when I decide that a light fitting requires Hue bulbs over traditional bulbs
