Solid off-road compressor with mod!
I bought this air compressor to serve as a backup to my CO2 system that I use on my Jeep Wrangler when airing tires back up after off-roading. This compressor is made in China and has several different brand names it goes by including a more expensive Smittybilt version that are all identical. While the compressor itself is solid, they all come with a cheaply made hose that is known to fail. I run 35” tires on my Jeep and while my CO2 system has never let me down, it only works if I don't run out of CO2. I did not want to use the cheap rubber hose that came with this compressor and I wanted to use the same hose that I use with my CO2 system. In order to make that mod I needed to remove the Chinese air compressor fitting on the handle and switch it out for a SAE fitting. The thread size on the fitting that gets removed is a M12x1.0. I used an adapter I found here on Amazon to go to 1/4" NPT (Link below). I also added a T fitting with a 100 PSI pop off valve. Pics are of my mod with an aluminum high flow fitting....the same fitting that is on my CO2 system. Fantastic now that I don't have to carry two different hoses and the compressor works great.Link to M12x1.0 to 1/4" NPT adapter fitting here on Amazon:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FXNZQC2?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

works great to refill tires on our Jeep after riding on the beach.
Solid construction. Refills the four tires on our 2015 Jeep when we drive off the beach. Tip, the unit gets hot, the hose and metal tip so be careful after using it to refill your vehicle tires. We have used it for a year now and it works great. We also treat the compressor with great ease as to not bang it around.

Great product
I would give it 5 stars if it had a remote switch and gauge at the end of the air hose vs at the compressor itself. Other than that, works fantastic!

Most reliable that I know of.
I haven’t experienced any other compressors really. This is the only one I’ve used because a friend had it for when we went off-roading and we were able to fill all 8 of our tires back to street pressure without overheating. It was also took about as long maybe a bit longer than discount tire would take to refill from 25 to 40psi in 32” tires. It can at least fill 8 tires if you really have to I can’t confirm if you should do more without overheating. It gets really hot by the hose connection after the 8th tire. After about 2 years the aluminum tube that feeds air through the handle to the connection point finally broke off. Now it could be a result of overheating over time or getting thrown around in the back of my truck. Might’ve lasted better if I packed it better.

Beware
I purchase this air compressor August 2023, to use in my RV. I used it once to top off the tires and it worked OK. I didn't have a need to use it again until March 2025. This time when I tried to inflate a tire on my wife's car it wouldn't work. The motor ran but produced no air. Also i can't fine any contact information for the company so beware if you decide to buy it.

EXCEPTIONAL!!!!
Such a great product! I have an old plastic compressor that still "works", but takes forever to air up the tires on my 4Runner. This new pump is SO MUCH BETTER!!!! What used to take 7 or 8 minutes is done in 1. The amount of air it pushes is really just amazing. The included cary bag is super helpful, it allows me to keep my hose and adaptors all together so I have everything I need when I need it. I even put a tire plug kit in the bag so I have everything I could need. The customer service is 100% BEYOND EXPECTATION!!! I received a unit with an odd air adaptor, it didn't accomodate a standard 1/4 inch connector. I engaged customer service, sent some photos so they truely understood the problem and they were happy to send me a solution. I expected to get an adaptor, but what I received was a NEW PUMP! Complete with the new hose, cary bag and everything you get when you make the initial purchase. This pump is such a value to begin with just based on the quality, but with this level of customer service it's the only one to buy!!

I'm not sure yet.
This air compressor arrived today. A day ahead of the estimated delivery date. Horay for great shipping!Upon unboxing I found one folded sheet with the lawyer speak warning of all the dangers of misuse if not used according to directions.Upon reading the directions, the instructions tell you how you are to air down and air up. However, the description of the parts have left me confused because of the wording and lack of exactly what those parts look like. For instance, you might as well forget airing down with this compressor because of the parts named to air down with and vague instructions. I'll use what I have and air down with the straight forward equipment that I already own. I'm not screwing up an air down just to take the time to pressure up after I screw up on an air down. Very disappointing. The instructions must assume that people are well seasoned and experienced with airing down and airing up, which I am. Not so with these instructions and no parts diagram. Why is it that everyone these days wants to save the earth by including garbage instructions for the things they sell? The one video included on amazon is absolutely less than adequate for instructing someone on the air compressor operation and the instructions follow suit.My issue is that their names of parts leave me wondering if they are talking to a brick wall. The air compressor is very substantial and the parts appear to be high quality but there's no way on earth that I can read their instructions and figure out how to use the compressor to air down with. I think they're pulling my leg on that deal.I will only use this to air up with because the vague useless information on airing down with it.I must say I have hundred dollar compressors and this beats the heck out of them. Hopefully, eventually, I'll conquor the vague owners manual; what there is of it, and actually be able to use all the funtions they say it can be used for.

Smelling hot
It's starting to move. It didn't compress air too slow after a year and a 1/2 of using it. And only used it 20 times
