Ambi African Black Soap Face & Body Bar, Cleans and Nourishes Skin, Rinses Clear, 5.3 Ounce

I really like Ambi African Black Soap! It cleans my skin gently but effectively, leaving it feeling fresh and soft without dryness. I’ve noticed it helps even out my skin tone and reduces minor blemishes over time. The scent is earthy but not overpowering, and it works well for both my face and body. It lathers nicely and rinses off easily. I’ve been using it regularly, and my skin feels healthier and smoother. Definitely a great addition to my skincare routine!

Great soap. Lather is great. Its not an overnight fix it does take time to see results.

I only use African black soap for my body - it seems to be the only stuff that ensures I don't get body acne. So far my skin has loved this brand of soap (I typically buy Shea Moisture) and I really love the lather and the SIZE of the bar. It's nice and big and will last longer than typical bars. I'm a goth at heart so I love the black bar. I'm starting to try this on my face, as well, to see how my skin handles it. It gives me a bit too much of a squeaky clean feel but it's more affordable than my facewash I've been using so hopefully my skin adjusts. Update: my skin hs adjusted and my face is taking to this soap rather well. Super happy!

This soap lathers very quickly. The suds come out practically as soon as you start to rub it. It also smells good with a light scent that is not strong at all. This is something I specifically look for when it comes to scented products. It is a thick, almost round bar of soap, so I’m betting that it will last for quite sometime. I’ve never been one to have sensitive skin so I can’t speak to any effects in that department (sorry). I specifically got this soap because I heard it can clear up the skin and get rid of acne, which I tend to get from time to time on my face. One thing I don’t like is how it leaves the skin feeling afterward. Some soaps leave the skin feeling slick, where you can run your hands over your skin smoothly without interruption. This soap does not do that, it’s like it leaves residue and if you rub your hand over your skin it’ll be like using a ballon instead, and you’ll feel a lot of turbulence. Other than this, I like how it performs and my face is already starting to clear.

I love, love this soap creamy to the touch. I use it to wash my face. Face its so soft and clean no extra stuff.

Absolutely love this soap. I use to use a different one in this line a long time ago and ended up moving on to something else later on but this soap is great! It lathers up nice, rinses very clean, and doesn’t leave my face feeling or looking dry or ashy. It really seems to make my skin look great too because I have gotten several compliments on how great my face looks. There’s not too much I can use on my face without it breaking out due to it being sensitive but this one is a keeper.

I’ve been using for around a month & do not see a significant difference my skin discoloration. I have seen an improvement in the brightness of my skin & appreciate that. I will continue to use to give it more time.
