A pretty good paracord bracelet with other survival additions. The paracord doesn't stay in place all that well so it stays loose. But I bought two and they are good. I tested the flint and steel on one and it did throw sparks. The fishing kit is also a nice add-on. The compass isn't accurate but I knew it wouldn't be. Whistle is nice

I love that you can open it up and don't have to cut the string. Everything was inside as listed. I rebraided it ( with vid on youtube) into a keychain as my wrists are way too small for it. I just rolled some aluminium foil around the inner tube that made it stiff. There is a kind of sock around the inner part that did fray a bit when taking the tube out. You could easily rebraid it a bit larger or tighter. The compass is as bad as my digital one on the phone, so it would help a bit but nothing precise i think. The whistle is loud and could probably be used against an attack. Plus if you hit someone with it there is a lot of sharp edges that would probably hurt. Good piece for ladies to keep close.

From what I can tell it's really nice, haven't checked the internal tube as I have no idea how to reweave this. Looks nice, a little loose on me and did my own way of fastening which is stick the magnesium cylinder through the serrated circle and then tighten and wrap around the circle. Took the whistle apart and spent 5 minutes trying to make it a little tighter, I hope it stays as the chord casing just sits in between the pieces. Any amount of tugging on it would make it fall off. Just because of the whistle, if you're going to add it, make it feel like it's a part of it and reliable and durable.

When I received my Paracord bracelet, I was extremely excited. It was well made and durable. The whistle is excellent. My dog responded to it on our hike. Was able to use the serrated edge of the toggle to open a treat package for my dog. It did somehow unravel on my way back. The contents inside were lost. I found the toggle and the whistle later. I suggest tightening up the ends of the string before you wear it. I sent a message to the company and they were very responsive. My new one will be on its way. I am giving the product a 5 because I should have inspected the product more thoroughly before taking it out and the outter components I can see are very durable.

Cannot vouch for the contents, as one can only get to them if one unties the bracelet, but I am assuming they are in there as listed. The bracelet is well made, the reflective fibers reflective, and the compass appears to be accurate with a little tapping. Have not really tested the whistle, or attempted to make a fire, but the pieces are all there. This bracelet is a little too big to wear on my wrist - cinching the flint all the way to the edge of the braid makes it the right size, but it won't stay cinched. I could possible knot it, or do a wrap to make it stay, but instead I'm just wearing it around my ankle. Would recommend.

I have read some of the poor reviews on this product, mainly trashing the compass that comes attached to it. Well if your really OUT THERE, I would hope you would invest in a good compass and spend the money a good compass costs. The first thing I did when I received this product was remove the compass. Other negative reviews down played it as a kids toy and while there truly is nothing exciting or high tech about the contents, this can be worn 24/7 without even noticing you have it on. The survival rule that cuts across all disciplines relating to survival is you can have the best S#*t on the market but if you don’t have it accessible when you need it, it still ain’t s#*t. The common things stored in here are the very things we often don’t have because we take “common” for granted. And if you Do have all the high end stuff, doesn’t hurt to have extra just in case. And if you end up way out there in nowhere and plan on eating meat, most likely fishing is your best if not only bet- I would normally not have ANY fishimg line or fish hooks On Me in a regular every day event. But now I do without standing out and without weighing myself down. This by itself may not save your life but could make it easier when caught with nothing.

The bracelet is really big, I have to clip it on my backpack because it will fall off my wrist, and the compass is not reliable, you have to keep tapping it to get the needle to go the right direction. Other than that, it seems to be made of high quality and will probably last until you have to cut it open, but DO NOT rely on the compass.

My grandson is 10 years old and he was thrilled to find this in his Easter basket. He is happy so I am happy. The only thing I would suggest is better directions included with it. I think he would enjoy it more if he had directions to look at to see how it worked but they were not included. Still, I recommend this because it was sturdy and well made and like I said, if my grandson is happy, so are grandma and grandpa. Son and Grandpa now want one, too!
